We think you will agree that Lakeview Lodge has one of the prettiest views in the North Georgia mountains. It overlooks Lake Blue Ridge and has a three-state view of the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains. National Geographic has filmed the view from the cabin for a TV special. It is nestled under the hardwood trees at the top of the ridge and provides a peaceful, private, and cool vantage point from which to enjoy all of the beauty and wildlife around you. The generous floor plan provides two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the main level and sleeps up to eight. The master bedroom has a queen bed, private double-vanity bath with tub/shower, and walk-in closet. The second bedroom has a queen bed and double glass doors that open onto the screened porch. The second bath is next to the bedroom and has a tub/shower. The loft has two double beds and a reading nook. We provide everything for your stay except food and personal items.

Great family getaway! Two adults and three kids, and there was more than enough room. The location is great, the house is wonderful in every way. From decorations, fireplace, beds, baths, the deck is great to hang out on to watch the deer and bats at night! Yes bats! The kids thought that was the best! Town in a short drive for groceries. We cant wait to come back in the summer and go tubing in Helen. Every detail is thought of in this cabin. Clean, immaculate, detailed. We will be making this a twice a year trip! Excellent cabin. The veiw was amazing. We used the telescope and were able to see jupiter and 4 of its moons. We also took a day trip down to the toccoa valley campground and went canoeing down the toccoa river. It was amazing we caught several fish and had a surf and turf dinner. The cabin was immaculant, no details were overlooked. The furnishings and the accesories were amazing.I will definetly be making the lakeveiw lodge a yearly retreat. We just got home from a four night stay at this cabin. Everything about this cabin is awsome. The first night when we walked in and opened the door, the smell of the wood just made you melt. My husband and I have always wanted a log cabin and this cabin made us want one even more. The view was awsome, cabin was wonderfully furnished. So much detail was taken into decorating (GREAT JOB!!!!!) we just had a fantastic time. We wanted to try to make it back up there for our anniversary but it was already booked up (DARN) but we are planning and hoping to make a trip up there with the inlaws.Did you find this review helpful? My girlfriend and I stayed at the cabin and found it to be very clean and almost brand new. The staff does indeed provide everything you may need in the cabin during your stay. The view down into blueridge is awsome and from what I hear there is good fishing in the area as well.The direct tv is a great added touch and makes you feel like your right at home. I highly suggest taking your entire family to the cabin for a week or two, there is plenty of sleeping space with three bedrooms and you will be very comfortable.To top off the visit we also were called by the owner to make sure we made it ok and to see if everything was made ready for us. This cabin is spectacular. We just returned from a three-night visit. The owner has thought of everything anyone would need to have a great vacation. The cabin is upscale and has many designer touches. Furnishings are comfortable, harmonious, warm, and eye-pleasing. The view is awesome. Whether sitting on the deck enjoying the lake and mountain view, or relaxing in the large hot tub, serenity surrounds you. We've already rescheduled two return vacations. I just returned from a weekend at Lakeview Lodge, and it was better than I could have ever imagined!! I can't wait to go back! The cabin was so beautiful, and so comfortable. The interior decorating was superb. The pictures on the web site don't do it justice. The view was spectacular. The web site was correct too...we saw many deer and a hawk stayed perched in a tree just to the left of the deck most of yesterday afternoon. When the hawk wasn't there, it was flying around in circles. The scenery is a must see! It was everything, and more, of what was promised in the website.
