If I had a complaint I don't know what it would be. I stayed for a month spring 2011 and the place was a knockout from the building to the condo to the location to the view and local conveniences. I have stored the owner's phone number in my phone! When I get back to Kona I wouldn't bother to look elsewhere for somewhere to stay. Since it was off season I and a long stay I was able to negotiate a bit on the rent so I hit the jackpot in every way. Stay here, you'll never be sorry and you'll never look at another place for two. It's perfection.

We stayed in this unit from March 10th to March 20th, 2011. We were there for the Tsunami & had to be evacuated the first night of our arrival. The property managers mother lives in this building & she told us that she had a place for us to go so we would not have to spend the night in the car in the Walmart parking lot. She was very helpful, but our son lives in Kona up the hill so we went to his place for the night. It was reassuring to know that she was there with Plan B for us & was willing to do whatever we needed so that we were comfortable. This unit is very comfortable. The mattress & the bed linens are like a 5 star hotel & were so comfortable. The unit is very clean & if there are any issues you contact Sheila & it is taken care of immediately. The kitchen is equiped with the basics for simple cooking. I do a lot of cooking for my son & his friends when I am on the Big Island & thought the pots & pans could be upgraded. However I keep a storage box at my sons with things I have purchased over time that I prefer in the kitchen so I just move that to where ever I am staying, so it wasn't terrible. The view is great & the building is clean & maintained well. The parking space for this condo is located very close to the lobby & the elevator, so that was nice as well. Kailua Village is a good location & close to everything. It is a quiet location. We were there for Spring Break & St Patrick's day & we could hear music from one of the bars on Alii if we were on the balcony, but it was quiet in the condo & the music stops at 10P. We did not find this to be a problem at all. We especially liked that we could walk to the Kailua-Kona Stroll & to all the restaurants on Alii Drive, as well as the farmers market. There is a portable air conditioner unit, but we found it didn't work very well & we really did not need it. there is a nice breeze that comes right through the condo. We were very comfortable here & will rent this unit again. The owners are very nice & someone is on sight if you need help with anything & that is important when renting a place. Mahalo to Monika for renting this unit to us & to Sheila for making us feel so welcomed.

Just to let you know...we had the time of our lives! We absolutely loved everything about the property...everything was there and met our expectations Monika. It was great to meet your Mom as she is a wonderful generous lady. (fresh tuna and Chocolate Mac Pie). We bought and left a couple of beach chairs and a 26 of Margarita mix...hope Sheila enjoyed, tee hee! Bye for now, Karen & Gordon

Monika, We really enjoyed our short stay at your place in Kona. We liked the unit, we liked the building, we liked the location--and of course Sheila was very pleasant and informative. It fit our needs nicely. The only drawback was the lack of internet--and between trying to stay in touch with family and the little business I have to conduct--which made things inconvenient a bit. Other than that, it was great. Likely will not be back to the Big Island until 2013, and will keep your contact information. Thanks again--to both of you. Steve C Marana, AZ 85658

We had a lovely time at this condo, and the location was perfect. Everything we could have possibly needed was readily avaialbe at the condo (ie:anything you could possibly want in the kitchen for cooking there or for entertaining guests, beach stuff, bathroom stuff, extra blankets-if needed etc). Contact person at the location was prompt, friendly, and easy to deal with. We had to leave our luggage there for a later flight and she was able to help us with that while not interupting the next guest scheduled there after us. View was very nice and we were able to walk to most places easily.

I had the immense pleasure of staying at this heavenly condo for a week this summer, and it was not nearly long enough!! I can without a doubt say that this was the most fantastic vacation I have ever experienced. From the moment I arrived at Kailua Village, I felt at home. The condo owner spared no expense when it came to comfort! The condo is very sunny, beautifully decorated, has GORGEOUS ocean views from its balcony (you can see straight out to the ocean, palm trees, and even see the big cruise ships coming in, or the small fishing boats going out in the morning, not to mention the sunsets!!) There was plenty to keep me occupied nearby, but when I just felt like staying in and taking it easy, that was great too! I had a couple movie nights in the condo watching movies on the flat screen from the comfort of the to-die-for bed, and I was able to use the kitchen to cook which saved me a lot of money from the alternative of eating out for all my meals. It felt as though someone had anticipated my every need, and it made my vacation a more relaxing trip than I have ever known. I would highly recommend this condo to everyone, and cannot wait for my next trip! Thank you so much!
