Coyote Bluff sits on 5.5 acres and is our most contemporary cabin with one of the best views on the property. The king bed in the master bedroom and the queen bed and trundle daybed upstairs in the unique L-shaped loft upstairs offers comfortable sleeping accommodations for 4 adults and 2 children. Two full baths and a modern kitchen complete the amenities.

Year Purchased: 2004
Fort Mountain Georgia—It was 1996, and newly married Robert and Liz Coleman found themselves reeling in phone calls, faxes and pressure from working at home and telecommuting. Robert had recently left his career as a funeral director to take up property management, and Liz was a salesperson for a large computer company. Both trying to manage the myriad of distractions from phone calls, emails and faxes appearing in their Atlanta, GA home-based offices twenty-four hours a day, they decided to build a dream vacation home in the tranquility of the North Georgia mountains. After vacationing in cabins in throughout Georgia, the Colemans happened upon a tract of land that bordered the 135,000 Chattahoochee National Forest. Little did they dream at the time that the 18-acres they purchased to build their dream hide-away would eventually result in a successful 129-acre North Georgia cabin rental destination, Bed and Breakfast Inn and mountain gift shop.
Why the Owner Chose Ellijay
After almost three years of working to install roads, electricity, water and septic tanks, the Coleman's dream home was soon to open, and along with it, two rental cabins. After traveling to cabin resorts throughout the United States to garner ideas, Robert and Liz furnished their cabins with all the amenities that would attract the most discerning of visitors. Thus, Wilderness View Cabins was launched in May, 2000 with two cabins featuring everything from stacked stone fireplaces, outdoor hot tubs carefully placed for ideal stargazing and mountain views, and all the luxuries of home (dishwasher, microwave, full size refrigerator with icemaker, washer/dryer, and phone). Each cabin was imprinted with the Coleman's personal style including totem poles, antique doors made into windows, antique claw-foot bath tubs, steam room, hand made doors, tongue and groove interior, wood floors, and oriental rugs. To insure absolute privacy, each cabin was located on its own five-acre parcel of land. Indeed, no detail was overlooked to insure that those seeking the utmost in luxury seclusion would find it at Wilderness View Cabins.

Wilderness View Cabin Rental has luxury cabins for every occasion and we are truly a a place for all seasons! Located at the top of Fort Mountain, only 1 hour north of Atlanta and only 45 minutes from Chattanooga, Tennessee. Our North Georgia rental cabins are situated on a Gated 129-acre private preserve with 12 individual luxury rental cabins with outdoor hot tubs and fireplaces, each on their own 5-17 acre parcel of land.

We throughly enjoyed our stay! The mountain view was amazing, especially while sitting in the hot tub! Loved the privacy too! Robert and Liz maintain their cabins wonderfully! Will be back for sure!
