Beautiful 2 story, 2700sq ft, waterfront house with pool by the canal. Usually owner occupied, so furnishings are far above typical rental standards. Brand newly remodeled kitchen (January 2012), 2 living rooms one with a fireplace the other facing the pool. Patio, pool and dock face eastward and catch the stunning sunrises. Two separate dining areas around the pool, one for 8 people and the other for 6 persons. 70 feet of waterfront with dock space for boat. Easy access to the Intra-coastal. Short 6 minute drive to the beach - even accessible by bicycle! The house is located on a quiet street surrounded by lush landscaping. Step out the patio slider to a large heated pool. Sunbath on the double lounge chair. Beach and pool towels, tennis rackets, beach chairs and some board games also supplied.
Three bedrooms and two full bathrooms on second floor, all with closets and doors opening to upper outside area. Main bedroom with queen size bed, walk-in closet, en-suite bathroom and shower and flat-screen TV. One bedroom with two single beds, another with a queen sized bed and TV. Arches leading into all rooms on the main floor, which is comprised of 2 separate living rooms, one with double height ceilings, fireplace and little library, the other with large TV, overlooking the pool and canal. Dining room seating 6-8 comfortably and open eat-in, fully equipped kitchen with eat in island with a view out to the pool and canal.
Very close and easy access to main roads such as US1, A1A and I-95, can even bicycle to beach, short drive to supermarket, spa, public golf courses, beauty salons, exercise park, outdoor theaters, cinemas, shopping and restaurants. Downtown Fort Lauderdale with its lovely shopping and outdoor restaurants on Las Olas less than 20 minute drive, less than 20 minutes to Fort Lauderdale airport.

Since my college-freshman daughter could not come home for Thanksgiving, we decided to take the family to her! Finding this home in such a beautiful, quiet neighborhood, to suit my husband, teenage son, daughter, mother- and father-in-law and their puppy was a dream come true! The pictures really do not accurately show the spaciousness of the home. My husband and I stayed in the sizable master bedroom, while my in-laws were down the hall in the 2nd bedroom. The kids were in the middle bedroom with twin beds. We never "tripped" over one another and had plenty of room to stretch out at all times, which was a major concern for my 6'6" husband. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the trappings of my own home. It was especially useful for my mother-in-law who is the family cook. Plenty of space (and cookware) for her Thanksgiving pies, cakes and tons of other food! Later in the week, we even grilled by the pool with some of my daughter's team mates. We did not pay to have the pool heated (which I would suggest doing in November!), but my son and mother-in-law enjoyed morning swims when the sun was directly over the pool. Any issues we had (which were fairly minor) were immediately tended to by Peg, who was superb! She readily recommended restaurants, malls and even a dog park, which was very close! Overall, this was a great find for us. Viktoria is an extremely sweet person and made us feel right at home. Don't be deterred if it takes a few tries to pin her down. It will be worth the effort!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, pet owners.

We have visited Florida often, staying in both hotels and houses. This is by far the best home we have stayed in and does not begin to compare in price or size to the hotels. Not only are the pictures accurate, they don't begin to show the size, warmth and beauty of this house. Kitchen is fully equipped, fresh linens and towels, the cabana bathroom is a treat and the large heated pool is fabulous. We will book again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, pet owners.
