Thoroughly enjoyed this unit. Kid friendly sleeping arrangements and owner provided some baby items so we didn't have to pack as much. It took literally 8 minutes in full ski gear from door to lift (great price for that proximity. Netflix and wii!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We got in Thursday afternoon and the condo was very easy to find, a big plus after a morning of travel. We got to explore the area in the daylight big plus. 5 min walk to lift at mountain house huge plus!!!! The condo is very nice might have been a little small for the size group we had(7) the condo is very clean and up to date. The owner checked in a couple times to make sure we were doing fine. She helped us regulate our heating issue so everything was good. We had a great 3 days on the mountain wish it could have been longer. I would give it a rating of 4.5 stars and would defiantly stay with them again very responsive to phone calls and e mail. Thanks again we loved your place! Having rented off vrbo ourselves, we know this is not always the case and we have found that responsiveness leads to repeat guests! In response to your comment about the size of the condo for a party of 7, I think it depends on the mix. In your case, I agree that it was probably a bit small for 6 adults and 1 child. We regularly have our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) stay in the upstairs rooms plus another couple (grandparents perhaps) downstairs. This seems to work well for us. Again, we appreciate your review and hope you will consider us for future trips!

The owner of this condo is wonderful to work with and was able to direct us to where we needed to go to get our ski trip all bundled up. what a wonderfully-kept condo, close to lifts, inviting, and peaceful. We split the cost with another family and were able to make this a financially-comfortable trip, also.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Pre Christmas present to extended family of 6 and the unit was perfect for our needs. Kristen answered our questions quickly by e-mail, text, and phone. Unit is exactly as listed in description, updated, clean, and has all the amenities needed for a ski vacation. Facility has nice and clean hot tub, sauna, and swimming pool, which are all indoors. Underground garage was perfect since it snowed everyday and not having to clean off the car was wonderful. When we requested additional keys, property management was courteous and on time. The unit is an easy 5-7 minute walk to the Mountain House base area where you have rentals, storage, food, and drink available. Express lift takes you to mid-mountain so if you have multiple ski levels, you have your choice of where you want to go. Our family skis at all levels so the Mountain House area has advantages over River Run in the fact you are finishing your day on green snow slopes, not blue ice! But if you need River Run for night life, shopping, etc, it is an easy 5 minute drive. We will certainly stay at this unit again on our next trip to Keystone.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We stayed here during spring break of 2012. We could not have asked for a better experience. Working directly with the owners (versus a management company) was a pleasure - all the way from the booking process through checking out. Great communication. The owners have a really nice condo here. It's in the Mountain House area that's much quieter than River Run yet provides quick access to the slopes and the convenience of underground parking. The unit is well furnished with comfortable leather couches, washer and dryer, comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen and free WiFi. The complex's pool, hot tub and sauna are also very nice (and they all work). We would stay here again without question.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My husband and I stayed with our son and daughter-in-law for a week in Jan. With a bedroom upstairs and another downstairs, it allowed for privacy. It was very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. A nice feature was the little things we were allowed to use (i.e. mayo, ketchup, coffee filters, sandwich bags, etc). It was very quiet and the pool area was very nice. We had an opportunity to meet the owners and they were very friendly and accommodating. My husband had stayed here previously and we would stay again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

My family stayed in the Condo the week before Christmas and I can't say enough about the professionalism and how easy it was to deal with Kristen. From my first email she was very informative and answered every question that I had. Upon arrival we were pleasently suprised with the condo itself. Our stay in March could not hve been better. The condo is a great place to stay while skiing in Summit county. It was extermely clean and all of the ammenities that one could want. Communcation with the owner is most personable, it seems like you are talking or e-mailing with a long time friend. I found this condo the best value for near slope-side lodging in Keystone.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Ski Run is one of the best locations at Keystone. Quite yet close to everything. VRBO 31811 is a great unit and a super deal! It had everything we needed for our family which included 7. There was plenty of room and we even had a game night with my sister's family of 5 all snuggled in around the table with the fire place going. The pool, hot tub and sauna area is with out a doubt the best at Keytone. We have been going to Keystone for over 15 years and tried all types of accomidations, trust us just book this unit and save yourself the time of looking!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

Cancellation policy:
1. I (We) are responsible for full payment for the rental period. 2. Failure to make payments when due will result in cancellation of the Agreement. 3. A ninety (90) day notice is required for cancellations. Cancellations that are made more than ninety (90) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 90 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full reservation deposit. Cancellations that are made within 30 days of the arrival date forfeit the full rental amount. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent. 4. Owner or Owner's Agent may enter the premises immediately, in the event of an emergency, in order to perform necessary repairs or maintenance. 5. This property is for our use only, and occupancy is not to exceed the limit cited above; including small children and infants. If more than the maximum number is found to be occupying the leased property, this Agreement may be immediately terminated and damage deposit forfeited, or the rent increased proportionately. 6. I (we) shall be responsible for all damage or breakage and/or loss to the premises, except normal, wear and tear and unavoidable casualty, which may result from occupancy. 7. The property will be left in the same good, clean and habitable condition in which it was found. Trash should be removed from the unit. Soiled dishes should be cleaned. 8. No animals of any kind are permitted on the premises. Any evidence of pets may result in forfeiture of security deposit or immediate termination of tenancy without refund. 9. No smoking is permitted on the premises at any time. Any evidence of smoking may result in forfeiture of security deposit or immediate termination of tenancy without refund. 10. Parking passes and key cards will be provided. Renters must display parking pass on the dashboard at all times. Failure to display may result in towing of vehicle at renter's expense. Parking passes and keycards must be left inside the unit upon departure. 11. Check-in time is at 4:00 P.M.(unless previously noted) and check-out time is at 10:00 A.M. unless otherwise specified. 12. Owner shall not be liable to Tenants for any injury, loss, or damage to any person or property on or about the premises. Tenant shall hold Owner harmless and indemnified from and against all loss or damage occasioned by the use or misuse or abuse of any part of or fixture on the premises and from or against any omission, neglect, or default of Tenants.

About the owner: We are Geoff Hiland and Kristen (Hiland) Bergeson, brother and sister, natives to Colorado. This condo has been an integral part of our family and our lives since the 1980s. Growing up as ski racers, our family spent countless weekends either training or racing from October through March every winter. As we grew older, the condo became the party pad where we hung out with friends. Now we have families of our own and the cycle is beginning all over again. We hope you'll enjoy our condo as much as we do.
Why the Owner Chose Mountain House, Ski Run:
Keystone is an ideal location due to its proximity to Denver and the front range, plus it is an easy drive to several other mountain locales including Breckenridge, Copper Mtn, Vail and Beaver Creek. During the winter, Keystone is a family-friendly mountain with great terrain for all abilities. In the summer there are also plenty of activities including beer and wine festivals, biking and hiking.
