CASITA ADELAIDE (Palapa) is a fully renovated, newly decorated, one bedroom, 1.5 bath apartment with an amazing roof top garden and palapa.
Located in the south of Bucerias, this casita is less than a block from one of the best beaches in Mexico.
This lovely home is completely furnished with hand-crafted furniture by local craftsmen as well as hand selected antiques from Mexico. The creative use of classic Mexican tile throughout the house gives it an old world charm. It is truly beautiful and practical.
From this upper level fully-equipped unit, you can see the waters of the Bay and the Sierra Madre Mountains in the distance - the perfect place to 'catch some rays', enjoy a siesta, drinks or dinner. Sunset from the palapa is spectacular with ever changing colors as the sun sinks into the ocean. The palapa area is equipped with potted plants, plenty of lighting, large table with chairs, deck lounges, and a gas barbeque.

However, most of our main floor guests have always allowed the 2nd floor apartment use of the pool in the past.
Area: Casita Adelaide is in the heart of the town of Bucerias just 12 miles north of the Puerto Vallarta airport on the north shore of Banderas Bay at the beginning of what is called the Mexican Riviera. The Casita is less than a block from the beaches of Bucerias. These palm lined beaches are said to be the best in all of Pacific Mexico.
If you are looking for a laid back, private atmosphere, away from the rush of city life, Casita Adelaide will not disappoint you. No glass objects around the pool please. Please bring a life vest or floaties for your little ones if they are to be around the pool.

We LOVED our stay at Casita Adelaide (the upstairs apartment). The pictures don't do it justice - the private rooftop palapa was paradise! This is the perfect location for a relaxing, laid-back vacation. Also especially greatful to the owner's in-laws/parents who were staying in the downstairs unit and were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Very easy public transportation to the surrounding beaches, and of course just a block to walk to "our" beach. Also easy to get to the main "Mega" store by bus. There were a lot of good restaurants in the area with a good range of prices/styles to choose from, and we also greatly enjoyed the grill on the roof! We had a wonderful time and definitely hope to be back sometime in the future!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

About the owner: We are the Goralski and Norgard family. We have been coming to Mexico together since 2003. We fell in love with Bucerias and when we found Casita Adelaide, we knew it was meant to be. We love this home and hope you enjoy it as well!
