As this is my home away from home, my goal has been to create a setting that is relaxing, peaceful and inviting. I have completely enjoyed upgrading over the years and have slowly and carefully chosen carpets, furnishings and accessories for their beauty and quality. I have recently upgraded both bathrooms with new custom cabinetry and granite counter tops and porcelan tile floors.
The kitchen has ample work space, lots of cabinets, well stocked for anyone who wants to cook or entertain while they are here. There are granite counter-tops. The dining table can accommodate six and the bar has four stools.
Assuming you are occupying the master bedroom, you can awake to a full view of the gulf. I invite you to do as I do and enjoy your first cup of coffee right from that vantage point. You may want to make sunset a ritual on the west facing balcony. I've seen some pretty amazing sunsets from that spot as the sun hides her face until the morning.
There are three flat screen TVs, a wet bar and a supply of books to meet the taste of a variety of readers.
When you come, I hope you will find it as relaxing and restorative as I do each time I return.

- There are six lighted tennis courts at Mainsail. ResortQuet offers to the PassPort to Fun to guests which provides coupons and freebees. Silver Sands Outlet Mall is just across Hwy 98 from Mainsail. This is the largest Designer Outlet Mall in the South. Excellent dining choices are everywhere. Grand Blvd. is less than two miles away and has some very excellent dining choices, Busters is a long-time favorite family oriented sports bar within walking distance.

Why the Owner Chose MainsailI chose this unit because I enjoyed the higher ceiling of the penthouse unit, the spaciousness and open floor plan. I loved the quiet beach and the view just blew me away.
The Unique Benefits at this CondoWhether I want to sit all day and knit and watch Law and Order reruns, Read for hours, shop at the Silver Sands Outlet Mall, prowl the antique shops, walk on the beach, hit the surf, play scrabble with friends, do the hot tub, soak up the sun, cook for friends, two things never happen. I never get bored and I'm never ready to go home.

For the past thirty plus years I have lived in Nashville,TN where I sell residential real estate. I grew up in North Carolina and going to the Atlantic beaches was an annual event. After I relocated to Nashville, TN I discovered the Gulf Coast. Originally I went to other beaches and when I decided to buy a property on the Gulf I discovered the Destin area almost by accident. I found Destin to be a more refined environment, appealing less to the college crowd than some other areas. It has a beauty and a sophistication I really liked. When I walked into what is now my home away from home, I knew I had found the right one. The spaciousness of the rooms, the view and the location were all right. I have traveled extensively and enjoyed some very nice accomodations. When I come to my special place in Destin, I want to feel not only relaxed, but also to have a sense of a special enivronment. I hope you will enjoy being there as much as I do every time I come back.

We enjoyed our stay here and will consider a return visit in the future. The unit is on the top floor of Mainsail and has a lot of light due to the windows along the top of the living room ceiling. The view of the Gulf was beautiful and very relaxing.

This was our first time at Mainsail, but it won't be the last! We had not stayed in this part of Destin, fearing it would be too crowded for our tastes. What a surprise! It is close to tons of shopping, dining, golf, and go-cart action; all of which we did. But when you enter the Mainsail complex and hit the beach, you feel miles away. So much nicer than densely populated high-rise complexes. Plenty of elbow room at the beach and both pools. The weather was absolutely perfect and the crowds were gone. The condo was so elegantly and quitely comfortable, and far lovelier than the pictures online. We left the sliding glass doors open all night to enjoy the sound of the surf, and watched a wedding on the beach from the balcony on Saturday afternoon. Only 1/4 mile from Baytowne Wharf and our new favorite place for Benny's and Beignets; Another Broken Egg Cafe. This was the nicest fall vacation our family has taken. We look forward to returning.......

We had an amazing weekend filled with sun, surf, and some deep sea fishing. Your unit was one of the most beautiful and comfortable places we have ever stayed in all the 20 years we have been coming to Destin. It made us want a place of our own there. The decor was beautiful and made us feel at home and comfortable. Thank you for sharing your home away from home with us. This was our first trip to Destin and it definitely won"t be the last. We found your condo on line and decided to take the chance and book it. We could not have made a better choice. The condo was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. The gulf view was absolutely breathtaking and very relaxing. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay one more night. We loved the location. It was convenient to everything!
