We call our home in Ocean Grove 'Ocean View'; we have renovated and furnished it as our own home, and we would love to share it with you and your family.
Perfect for Multi-Family Gatherings: Each family (or generation) can have its own floor with bedrooms and their own full bathroom for privacy. The 3rd floor has 2 bedrooms (sleeps 4) and a full bath ... with a door at the bottom of the stairs for privacy. The 2nd floor has 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6) and another full custom bath. Put the kids to bed upstairs, then enjoy the porch, large screen TVs, patio, or just talk among friends or family.

Our extended family of four generations came from AZ, TX & KS for a nearby wedding. We feel so fortunate to have found this house. Ocean View is exactly as described, very clean and well maintained in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The bedrooms are spacious with a sink in each bedroom, and the bathroom on each floor has been updated (a great shower too). Although we didn't cook often, the kitchen was very complete, beautifully updated and the washer and dryer were very much appreciated. We enjoyed taking the beach cart of chairs, umbrella, and cooler, along with our free beach passes, to the beach which was a block and half away. Some of the adults showed the kids how to build a sandcastle with the sand toys provided while others just enjoyed relaxing or walking along the shore. We all walked to downtown Ocean Grove about 3 blocks away several times and enjoyed shopping at the unique shops and eating at some of the hometown restaurants. A special treat was having ice cream in the evenings at one of the shops. Several of us went to NYC for day trips. One day we took the nearby train and another day we drove to Staten Island which is just a little over an hour away. We rode on the free Staten Island ferry in to the city where we enjoyed seeing all the NYC sights. After returning to Ocean Grove in the evening, it was nice to sit out on the front porch and relax and visit more. We also appreciated the large dining room table for more conversation while some of us worked on a large puzzle which was provided. The amenities in the house were great, something for everyone. We will have wonderful memories of Ocean Grove and being here together in this charming house.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

What a suprise when we walked into our beach house. It was so much more than we expected. The kitchen was beautiful as well as the rest of the house. We were so grateful for the thoughtfulness put into the house. For example. Beach passes, beach blankets and towels, sand toys for the grandchildren. Best was the beach cart with all the beach chairs. Not having to pack all those things was a treat. . We especially enjoyed the porch when it rained. It was nice to be with all our family in such a lovely setting. Walking around OG is one of my favorite things to do. I came home rested. We plan on being regulars. We have already reserved for next year.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

What a nice find! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this newly renovated house. The kitchen, was beautiful as well as functional, and the showers had a nice modern twist. It was nice to sit our big family down at the dinner table, for meals as well as "game night." Most importantly, the house was clean. It was also within easy walking distance to nearby attractions, including the beach.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Beautiful space. Plenty of room for our family. Very clean and attractive; everything we needed was provided, as promised. Very close to the beach and boardwalk, easy stroll to town. Perfect accomodations for our multgenerational family gathering! We fell in love with Ocean Grove and with this house! We will be back!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, age 55+.

We visited the Jersey Shore to attend our son's wedding bringing along Grandma & Grandpa, Aunt & Uncles, the groom's siblings and their significant others, and we all fell in love with Ocean View and Ocean Grove. Lots of time spent on the porch, deck enjoying each other's company. And, with three floors and three baths, no one got into the other's way. The house was clean and we had everything we needed and then some. The beach chairs were perfect with the attached pockets and cooler in backpack form - EASY! The kitchen is well stocked and the washer & dryer were used several times (thanks for the soap!). We made some great food on the grill, including part of a 40 lb. striper caught on a boat out of nearby Bradley Beach Marina (by tiny little Aunt!). It was great to be able to sit everyone in our large group at the same table! It really was just like the pictures show...no surprises. We enjoyed the neighbors as well as all the friendly people in Ocean Grove. The downtown area was so close that even Grandma & Grandpa walked to the shops and for ice cream and other goodies several times, chatting and visiting with everyone along the way. Lots of great restaurants in Ocean Grove and surrounding. Being so close to the beach and uncommercialized boardwalk was the icing on the cake. It was such a blessed family time. We made memories that will not be forgotten. Our only regret is that we had to leave!! My advice...if you have a large group and want a great family experience...book it! You won't regret it!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: We are two couples who love the beach and getting away from the daily grind. We found and created 'Ocean View', our second home in Ocean Grove, NJ, as a getaway close-to-home vacation spot for us. We share our house with guests who also enjoy the quiet, family beach community of Ocean Grove.
Why the Owner Chose Ocean Grove:
We were looking for a beach house when we came across a wonderful house in need of some tender loving care (meaning a thorough renovation). We didn't intend that kind of project, but we fell in love with the house!! We love what we have created and enjoy sharing our home with other families who love the beach, a quiet town, more beach, great restaurants, and more.
