The Owner, David Irwin, has lived in Vail for 39 years. I came hear to teach skiing after a winter in Europe racing and having too much fun. This was our fourth time renting # 3183. . This 2 bedroom 1 bath with a full kitchen,and laundry is perfect for us. The beds are new and their are always plenty of linens and towels. The heated sidewalks and driveway is a nice feature. This apt is within 150 feet of the free bus and eliminates the need for a car. When were are here we like to go to Bart & Yettis, the tap room, & Garfinkels, for pub food, We have recommended this apartment to others and we will be back next year god willing.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, tourists without a car.

In general, I was disappointed with my stay at this property. The place needs a good cleaning. In addition, furniture is broken down. I was given stained towels. I was not able to access the internet and a phone message asking for help with using the entertainment system did not receive a reply. On the upside, this property is conveniently located and the bus system into town worked quite well. The owner was also open to allowing me to check out later on my day of departure.
Owner response:I regret that your stay was not up to your standards. I had that feeling after meeting you when you stayed for 4 days. The unit gets a thorough cleaning after every renter. All of the furniture in the unit is brand new except for the dining table & chairs. One towel had a bleach stain on it so I apologize for that. No one else has ever had a problem accessing the internet w/ my access code; so maybe it was your computer? There is only cable tv so I'm not sure what the problem was there? I have rented this apt. for 12 years and have never had a disgruntled renter. This is obvious since you are the very first to write a reveiw. Hopefully you will keep looking to fullfill your needs and standards next time. I will continue to offer a nice unit @ a reasonable price. This renter does not reflect the truth about this unit, but everyone has their opinion and I respect that.
