The property was breathtaking. We were a party of 6 and were more than comfortable. The house is well maintained and the staff was very helpful. Communication was also great between Jane, Sam, Vincent and everyone listed in the pre-arrival information. Some things to do: Meet the local neighbors, very friendly people. Make friends with the bartender, we enjoyed Myetts. Get a house call massage from Serenity Spa, ask for Rebecca, AWESOME!! Spend a day at Smuggler's Cove and make sure to stop at the Bomba Shack!! Go to Jost and spend a day on White Bay See The Baths We stayed busy but also hung out at the house. For groceries, ask Sandman or Vincent for a ride to the Safeway in Road town, or go to the little store Scotty runs close to the house for quick things. Don't waste your time or money at Bobby's, it had very old food. We highly recommend renting this property..1st class all the way. Thank you for a much needed wonderful week.

We had the pleasure of spending a week at the Tortola Beach House in August 2009. This year, we only had three nights available, but the owner, Jane, graciously made the booking for the shorter stay. Once again, we were amazed at the beauty and functionality of the house. Everything was immaculate, all the appliances worked perfectly, and the patio features one of the best views in the islands. We try to visit different places on our annual island visits, but this house is and will always be on our list of places to return to as often as possible.

This is the best beach house ever. We've stayed there twice. The house is great! Has plenty of room and the views are wonderful. There is room to hang out with everyone and room to get away by yourself. Restraunts are convient to the house, just a walk down the beach. Very relaxing.

The Beach House experience borders on the incredible. Getting up with coffee or a Mimosa, walking outside to the waves rushing up onto your own little private beachshore, watching the pelicans fishing for breakfast in the shallows less than 40 feet from the lounge chairs where you are sitting, while the sun rise over the hills. Seeing the sailboats motor out of the bay all through the morning, walking next door to the Callwood's place for a sandwich then down to the small distillery for some tasty spiced rum "tester" shots and a couple take home bottles, sightseeing through the day around the island or going over to another island for much of the same, getting back in the early evening to listen to Mr. Marley's music over the soundsystem's outdoor speakers and celebrate the sunset over the hills on Jost Van Dyke to the west, as the sailboats motor back in to moor for the night. Flip flopping down the beach to Mayettes for some live music, Conch Fritters, Painkillers and / or Red Stripes, and walking back home to a very comfy bed to let the waves washing up on the shore sing you to sleep. A perfect day - every day. If I hadn't been there to see it for eight days I probably wouldnt have believed it. Everything you thought you'd ever want in a beach house to include the unique outdoor shower off the master bath. Jane and her property manager are so easy to work with, you'd think they'd been raised in the South. Looking forward to a return trip with some more luck.

First impression of the beach house was I couldn't believe how charming it was.. I saw pictures online and they just don't do it the right justice.. We all felt at home and in love with the house. Each room was uniquely special and seemed to have been made for each couple! Staying at the only beach house on Cane Garden Bay was quite the treat.. Lots of sea life! safe swimming and beautiful beach just steps away.. not to mention all the local restaurants and bars right on the same beach!!! could not have dreamed of a better time!!! And last but not least the locals are very friendly, go right next door and visit pui for the best fish sandwich in town. had the time of my life!

We had an amazing vacation in this idyllic spot. The house is even better than the photos if you can imagine. Also, the kitchen is the most useable one we have ever encountered. There were even sharp knives!

We thoughly enjoyed being in a community atmosphere with all the amenities that a home has to offer. The house was charming, solid and comfortable and I felt very content and safe. We loved the short walk to the beach "bars" and restaurants and getting to talk with the locals. The patio and gardens were lovely. We enjoyed watching the pelicans "fish" every evening while enjoying cocktails on the patio. Being able to grill outside and dine alfresco was relaxing. I would recommend taking the ferry to the Baths on Virgin Gorda for snorkeling, and dining at The Dove in Road Town where every mouthful was exqusite! It was a very relaxing vacation - just wish it could have been longer!

The six of us thoroughly enjoyed the Tortola Beach House. Everything we needed was right inside - from cable TV to a complete kitchen set-up. We loved the master bedroom and the terrific shower. The romantic second bedroom was also great, as was the upstairs bedroom. The living area was comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed eating on the porch just off the living room and watching the pelicans dive for sea creatures from the beautiful deck. The house was within walking distance of several nice restaurants and bars, and we enjoyed the walk. Meeting friendly Tortolans was another surprise! We hope to return to the house next year. All six of us thoroughly relaxed and enjoyed everything about the house and the island.

4 of us stayed here for 2 weeks in October 2010. The pictures did not do it justice. We could not have picked a better place to stay. We enjoyed watching the sunrise each morning on the balcony and surveying what was going on in Cane Garden Bay. Myetts was an easy walk up the beach for dinner, cocktails and massages. We spent alot of time snorkeling in front of the house. We recommend Banana Keet for dinner and gorgeous sunsets. We used Blue Water Divers for our scuba diving excursions and found them very professional and enjoyable to dive with. We took a daysail on the Aristocat which was one of the highlights of the trip. And yes...a trip to Virgin Gorda and the Baths is a must! Stop at Rudy's Bar for a beer and the full moon party at the Bomba Shack is an experience!! This was one of my most memorable vacations and I would love to go back someday!!!

The house is beautiful and so is the beach. I went with my mom, aunt, 2 sisters and niece! This was my second time there! You can walk to a small grocery store, down to Quito's to listen to live music, or just float in the ocean! It is so peaceful and quiet and we had a fantastic time.

I have spent three vacations at this wonderful beach house and will be going back Summer 2011. The idea of getting a cup of coffee and walking four steps to walk a very quiet and beautiful beach has made me return year after year. The house is exactly like the pictures and the service is first class. You have the option to stay very busy or sit and watch the water go by. The snorkling is fabolous even if you are a beginner, and all you have to do is walk out your door, The locals are warm and fun loving people. There are wonderful beach restaurants, great evening music or just star watching. This is the perfect place to un-wind and rejuvenate. You do not need a car as there is good taxi service to other parts of the island but since Cane Garden Bay has so much to offer, you may not want to leave the beach. If you do, a day trip on the White Squall, out of Road Town should be on your list or a local can take you over to Jost Van Dyke for the day. But the location of the beach house will make you just want to sit and dream. On my thrid visit, I finally opened a book. The house has eveerything you need and the outdoor shower is wonderful.

We stayed at the house in April/May 2010 and had a great time. The location is perfect; it's about a 45 minute boat ride from anywhere in the BVI and across the bay from a world class point break (which only broke once (April 26) while we were there, but well worth the entire trip). And the sunsets over Jost Van Dyke were amazing. We're going back in Spring 2011!

Words truly do little justice to this wonderful property. Communication with Jane (the owner) was prompt and proffesional. Beverly, the housekeeper keeps everything in immaculate condition. The house has every ammenity one could need. The outdoor rock shower attached to one of the downstairs bedrooms is a very nice touch. 10 minutes sitting on the balcony or in the living room looking out at the ocean will put anyone in the island spirit. Walking distance from all the restaurants, bars, and water sports Cane Garden Bay has to offer, but far enough away to be seculuded from the crowds, especially on cruise ship days. Pictures give a good introdcution, but you really have to experience Cane Garden Bay Beach House for yourself to get the full picture.
