Very nice and clean condo. Great location. I Would highly recommend it. Also, Sylvia was oh so kind to mail back a jacket that I'd accidentally left there. Thank you!Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

We spent three days in this condo, skiing, boarding and seeing our family from Delaware, Los Angeles, Canada and Colorado. The condo is spacious and extremely well outfitted. Sylvia has thought of everything. The kitchen even had its own espresso machine with pods of coffee waiting, so this made my day every morning. The condo is easy to access and turned out to be in the next building to my sister's place. We didn't know this when we rented. The condo was repainted and fixed up very nicely. The weather was very cold but we were warm all the time and hardly ever had to turn on the heat. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a nice get-away in Winter Park.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We've spent three nights in this condo and just loved it. It's very cute and tastefully decorated, just like what you would hope for in a mountain setting; with pinecones, bears and moose. It has everything you could possibly need and the owner Sylvia was a pleasure to deal with. Thanks again and I'm sure we'll be back some day!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Thank you Claudia, I hope you will stay again! Sylvia

I have stayed at two other locations in Hi Country Haus. Sylvia, yours by far was the best. It had a very intimite and comfortable feel about it. The fact that you had the condo stocked felt great, that was very giving of you.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2005
About the owner: I am a Human Resources professional living in Denver. My daughter and I find that, as soon as we walk in the door of our condo we INSTANTLY relax.
Why the Owner Chose Hi Country Haus:
We love skiing Winter Park and after years of renting hotel rooms and condos decided to buy a condo here. I have a daughter who is an avid hiker and snowboarder, I ski and snowshoe, love WP as much in summer as in winter!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We love being able to walk everywhere in town and taking the shuttle to the base. One of my favorite pastimes is sitting on the porch and seeing/listening to the Fraser River rush by. The wildlife viewing is amazing, I have seen moose, deer and fox walk through the property on their way to drink in the river.
