Pagosa Springs condo description

Being in this townhome is a bit like being on the deck of a boat, over water. The living/dining and deck area, and the kitchen just behind them, form one interrelated space looking out over the San Juan River. The dining table is a great place to watch the wildlife in the wetlands across the way, or a sudden thunderstorm in the mountains, or enjoy a beautiful summer day.
On the top floor, the master suite is big enough to spend the whole day. There’s a window seat looking out on the River and you’ll fall asleep on the king-sized bed, listening to River sounds. There’s a pullout sofa by the fireplace and television, if you have a young child who wants to stay close. The second bedroom is cozy, with a queen-sized bed and adjoining bathroom. On the main floor, the area behind the kitchen holds a twin bed and trundle and will have a privacy curtain for additional sleeping. The living room sofa also makes up into a double bed.

One surprise: the hot tub that holds six people is inside in a curtained area overlooking the River. There’s a BBQ that pulls out to the grassy area below, also. Cooking together is fun; the kitchen is more than ample with many conveniences. This is a great getaway with a wonderful serenity of spirit and all the modern amenities.

Wonderful accommodations! The living accommodations in this cozy and spacious vacation condo far exceeded all our expectations. As a real estate broker always looking for the perfect site, this location within one-half mile from downtown Pagosa Springs offers unobstructed south-eastern views to the adjacent river, nearby gorgeous fields of open spaces and mountain ranges beyond. Complimenting the spectacular exterior scenery is the comfortable and spacious interior spaces - custom decor of rich colored painted earth tone walls and carefully chosen floor tile textures. Custom designed sofa furnitures, upholstery, pillows and wall bench, scaled to fit the spacious dining and living areas, provided us with a comfortable and carefree stay. The lower level has a family size heated spa and a large BBQ area with views for relaxing after a full day of activities and exploring. The spacious and comfortable upper level master bedroom suite had its own sitting, viewing and reading areas including a fireplace and large screen T.V.- music system for entertainment. The kitchen with island preparation area and large pantry storage had all the necessary amenities for cooking memorable meals during our stay.

We had a fantastic time here! This townhouse is lovely - clean and bright and well appointed with comfy beds and everything we could possibly need. Loved the design, decor and perfect set up for the 9 of us (4 adults and 5 kids). The kitchen is very functional. Our group loved the features and amenities of this property, and it was just as beautiful as it said in the description. We loved the living area very much that we could sit down and enjoy the beautiful scenery around the house for hours. Even staying inside, we felt like we were part of what’s going on outside. If I were to go back, this will be the first place where I will look into staying. It really made us feel like having a home in Pagosa Springs!

Manager response: Glad your group enjoyed it so much!

We were just perusing the listings for our next vacation spot, and recollected our Pagosa Springs stay and thought we would like to duplicate that. This property is private, yet easily accessible to all the amenities. It is quite ideal for a couple with guests, or a family with a desire for some private spaces but with a communal dining area and gathering area. One can walk to town and go to the baths, restaurants, or vintage stores. It is close to groceries and a running path. It is such a bucolic setting without being inconvenient. Clean, luxurious, and relative inexpensive. We'd do it again. . .

                  Year Purchased: 2005

About: We are urbanites who bought the property as it was being built in 2005. It was conceived and furnished for us by a professional designer, and she did an excellent job. We are fly fishers and have been to lodges we have enjoyed, but Pagosa Springs offers a variety of experiences in all seasons. We also love to cook and eat, and the kitchen was designed with that in mind. Being on the River for fly fishers is paradise! We love watching the River change and enjoy being right next to it, from morning to nightfall. We find it relaxing and exciting at the same time!

                  Why Pagosa Springs:
The proximity to the River and many surrounding areas that are beautiful and interesting (Mesa Verde, Four Corners, Ouray and the Silverton Railroad) make this a great vacation spot.

The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The view from the living room and master suite are endlessly interesting. The River is always changing and watching the wildlife (deer, birds, skunks, owls are all common) is fun and delightful.
