  My husband, me and our 2 teenagers stayed at this property - it was great! The description was accurate - the beach was just a few houses away. The house was clean and spacious and all advertised amenities were available. The owner, Mark was very easy to deal with when booking the property and the damage deposit was returned in a reasonable amount of time. We would definitely recommend this property to friends.

  My family--which included myself, my husband our 24 yr old son, my 62 yr old sister-in-law (her son got married) and my 86 yr old mother-in-law had an amazing vacation at this home!! It had everything we could have wanted, great location in the heart of strawberry country. The beach was literally just down the road, and everything we could have asked for was already there and ready to use---right down to beach towels and beach chairs. The home is well laid out and very accessible as my mother in law has some trouble getting around. Would highly recommend it for families or couples just looking to get away. Also an added benefit...the PCH (Pacific Coast Highway) is right there, and what a ride it is!!! Beautifull!!!

  We had a wedding in Ventura to attend and didn't want to stay at a cheap motel or in a hotel. Boy, did we make the right decision! Other wedding guests described the motel they stayed at as the "Bates Motel", yikes! The house was well appointed and accommodated out family perfectly. We had four adults and two little girls who loved loved getting to sleep on the top bunks. The beach was very close and we tried to enjoy it as much as possible. It was really nice to have all of the beach gear from chairs, umbrellas and beach toys. You really know how to set up a beach house. We would highly recommend this house and will return if we are ever in the area again. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

  This house is amazing. It has a very spacious layout. We had three singles stay here. The pictures look great but, in person everything is just better. If you considering renting a beach home, this is the one. The beach is literally a short jog away. Place is basically fully furnished, and the area is nice and quiet. We had such a good time, I can't wait to rent in the summer. Thanks Mark.

  The house and location are great. So close to the beach. Great area to bike around. The house is nicely remodeled and well appointed. Everything you need for a great get away. Loved getting to know the area. We went to the Channel Islands one day. We biked up to Ojai one day. And we biked all around Ventura as well.

  We have stayed at Mark's place twice now. We love the lay out and the spaciousness. It is clean and well kept. Great backyard to BBQ and sit around the fire pit. Will be staying there again. Thanks for sharing it!

  This house was really nice. Stayed here for a week with the wife and 3 kids (21, 19, 16). It was clean, roomy and quiet. Every amenity you need and then some. The gas fireplace is a nice touch. Kitchen was well equipped, bathrooms were clean and spacious, Family room was comfy with large screen TV and iPod docking station. The beach was a 2 minute walk and very large with very few people on it. Beautiful sunsets. Close to everything...we rode our bikes to the Channel Islands Harbor with shops and restaurants everywhere. Don't miss Mrs. Olsen's Coffee Hut for breakfast. There are also beach chairs and boogie boards available for use. The owner was very responsive and "on top" of things before we arrived and while we were there. We would definitely come back to this house...highly recommended.

  This house rocks! Stayed here with the wife and two kids... everyone loved it. The kitchen has everything you need, nice appliances (love the stove), comfy furniture and beds, and beach chairs and sand toys. The neighborhood is quiet and the beach is secluded, just the family and few seals. Bike path and a nice park also very close. Oxnard harbor less than 5 min away. Ventura harbor less than 10 min away. Highly recommend this property.

  We chose this amazing home to stay in for a week, for myself and my husband, my mother and our 2 grandchildren while we attended our daughter's wedding and festivities. The house was much larger than we expected. It was spotlessly clean, very well-equipped and beautifully redone. It was close to a fabulous beach and the owners had obviously thought of every amenity with which to enjoy the beach. They even included bicycles! The bedrooms were spacious with very comfortable beds, and the whole house was beautifully decorated yet with an easy-going comfort. There was a variety of things to do such as games, puzzles, movies, books, etc. The owner was very quick to respond to my questions and emails and was great to work with. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and I would definitely go back again. Because we were so caught up in wedding festivities we didn't get a chance to do or see much else but the beauty of this property is that you don't need much else.....with everything that has been included and the beach so close, there is not much that you are missing! A fabulous retreat.

  We were in town for a family celebration and needed a place to stay that would accommodate seven adults and a toddler. This property was perfect! The house was clean, neat, very tastefully furnished, and had all the conveniences from laundry facilities to wireless internet to beach chairs. The owner was very pleasant, accommodating, and helpful in answering all our questions. I would love to return in the future and would wholeheartedly recommend this property to friends and family.
