What an amazing place to come out of hibernation!!! As you may know I’m not your typical bear because I find it hard to stay in my rock cave when there are such lavish comfortable places to stay and play in my native mountains. Vail is one of my favorite ski hills in all of Colorado and this cozy condo fits Bears and cubs just right. If skiing is your activity, the free Vail busses will pick you up just a block away, which is only a 10 min ride to Vail Village. I found this extremely convenient since the condo home base to me and my traveling companions.
Since the streams were frozen and hard to scoop fish out of, we were happy to find a shopping center 5 min down the road. The shopping center provided everything including a grocery store, liquor store, sports store with rental gear and restaurants. If you forgot something at your den or needed anything, you could find it there.
The main floor of the condo is great for family or group together time. The kitchen, dining and lounge area are wide open and will keep everyone together. There is a great deck with lots of privacy just off of this great room. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you’d need to whip up a meal before or after your day of mountain adventuring. When its time to clean up and retire for the evening we were surprised no one had to fight for a shower. Each bedroom has its own adjoined full bathroom.
This mountain escape is perfect for families, a few couples, or a few bear buddies looking to get away and enjoy the pristine mountain air. I’ve already recommended this place to all of my friends in the National Forest and will recommend it to you as well. Enjoy!!

Our stay at Savoy Villas was really good, the owners are always available to help, they have the house in excellent conditions and very very clean. The photos are very accurate, is a two story house plus the stairs to the garage, it has a lovely balcony. It is very well equipped, you only have to go to the supermarket and enjoy your vacations. Thank you Todd and Mary.Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

We were looking for a wonderful vacation spot for spring break and found just that. Convenient to grocery stores, bus routes, lifts, etc. A quick drive to everything. Immaculate upon arrival, it had handy notes in places (sometimes figuring out a TV can be more challenging than you think), lots of light, comfortable beds and was perfect for our family. After long days of skiing, we enjoyed cozying up to the fireplace and relaxing and grilling our dinner. And the view while eating and from the living room was breathtaking. Would we stay again? Absolutely!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

My family stayed for Christmas week this year. The condo was plenty spacious and comfortable for 7 people. Location is very convenient to the TOV bus line and Lionshead. In addition, the kitchen in the condo is very well stocked in comparison to other Vail condos we have rented before, including in Savoy Villas. The pictures and descriptions in the VRBO write-up were spot-on and the owners were very responsive and professional. Overall, we had a great stay with awesome snow and would definitely rent this condo again!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

Highly recommend this property. The owners were great to interact with. Property was in great shape. Plenty of room for our family. It was nice to have all of the bedrooms downstairs. 2 minute car ride to the parking structures in Vail. Close to the highway for easy access. Nice kitchen for making meals at home, but close to plenty of restaurants.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We have stayed at a few condos in Vail over the past 8+ years and this is, BY FAR, the best, most well-furnished, and beautiful condo ever. We had a year-old baby with us and felt absolutely confident for her safety while there with all the baby security measures. And the owners could not have been more helpful; Mary almost seems like a good friend now - we sent so many e-mails back & forth. The condo was antiseptically clean. We had the opportunity to view a $5 million residence for sale in Vail Village and it was a mess. I mentioned to the person showing us the suite that perhaps they should get in touch with the maid who cleans the condo where we were staying . . . ! I would recommend this property to everyone, especially if they have children. We will most definitely be back for another family gathering at this condo - SOON! As for activities, you could eat out at a different restaurant for every meal the whole week and still not find all the excellent places to dine. ["The George" has the MOST EXCELLENT crab legs - 5-6 huge legs for only $20.] While waiting for the snow to come back, the "youngsters" went on Razor-Rides up in the mountains, since the snowmobiles had no snow to ride on. All in all, a very enjoyable week with extremely friendly people everywhere we went. So come to Vail and decrease your blood pressure by at least 10 points! And thank you very much, Mary & Todd for making us feel so at home.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Year Purchased: 1999
About the owner: We purchased our Vail condo in 1999 and have enjoyed sharing the experience with our guests since day one. Vail holds many memories for our family and we try to find time to enjoy the beauty of the mountains as often as we can.
Why the Owner Chose Savoy Villas:
When I was young my parents owned a condo in Vail and I learned to ski in Vail. I now share a similar experience with my family. Vail offers some of the best skiing in Colorado and consistently ranks as one of the top ski resorts in North America. Although best know for it's skiing, Vail also offers a wide range of summer activities. Our family enjoys the summers in Vail just as much as we do the winters.
