Grand Getaway is the perfect family vacation cabin. The great room is gorgeous and roomy and includes a stone fireplace and 60' Flat Screen TV with Blu-Ray player.
You will love the luxurious bedroom retreats. The spectacular master suite includes a king bed, a large bedside Jacuzzi for two, 42” Flat Screen TV, DVD Player, and full bath.
On the lower level you'll find a mini-suite with a private bath that includes a king bed, 32' flat screen TV with DVD player. The other two bedrooms each feature a king bed, 32” Flat Screen TV, and DVD Player.
This luxuriously appointed and comfortable cabin will give your family or group enough room to relax, but still give you that time to spend together.
Maybe the most relaxing amenity in Grand Getaway is the Sauna, a perfect way to ease any tension that you may have brought with you on vacation to make sure you don’t take it home again. Soak in your private hot tub on the covered deck and take in the fresh Smoky Mountain air or relax and enjoy the view from your country porch rockers. You can also enjoy the year-round, heated and enclosed swimming pool that's just an easy stroll from Grand Getaway.
Everyone can “get their game on” in the downstairs game room with a pool table, air hockey table, electronic dart board, or play a game on the stand up arcade unit. If the games aren’t enough to hold your attention, pop a movie into the Blu-Ray DVD Player, snuggle up in the media room and watch your favorite movie on the 60” Flat Screen LCD TV. This Pigeon Forge cabin has something to entertain everyone!
Want to cook in? Grand Getaway's kitchen is fully equipped with all new appliances and service for 12. All the pots and pans you'll need to create a gourmet dinner. Also included are a coffee pot, as well as a Kuerig k-cup coffee maker, mixer, blender, crock pot, electric griddle and ice maker. Or, you may choose to barbecue on the gas grill that's on the upper deck.

Thanks to Butch and Pam for providing such a lovely home away from home. It is conveniently located - just a few minutes from Dollywood and Pigeon Forge. The cabin was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Our grandchildren had great fun with the pool table,air hockey, and arcade game. It was also great to be able to walk to the resort pool. We did get to enjoy a family hike at Laurel Falls - just a short ride into Gatlinburg and well worth it! We would highly recommend Grand Getaway and hope to make it back soon!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We had a wonderful trip, this is a great place to stay! What a great house, it looks just like the photographs. This house is beautifully maintained, and decorated. The kitchen has everything you need, we ate in several nights and had everything we needed to grill or cook. The decks are covered which is nice, we didn't use the sauna, but the hot tub was lovely after a day out hiking and horse riding. The game room was lots of fun for everyone, especially the air hockey. I would recommend this property to everyone! This cabin is just outside Pigeon Forge, near the entrance to Dollywood, in a neighborhood surrounded by trees, but close to everything. We had an excellent, relaxing weekend at GG. The owners cover every detail to make stays as relaxing as possible, including the new hot tub and the sauna. Everything was just like we read in the description. We got snowed in and were unable to go anywhere, which was just what we needed! Thanks to Butch and Pam for putting together a 'grand' getaway spot for us for years to come.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

My family stayed here for a week and what a treat!! It was what they said and more! We spent a very relaxing week and truly enjoyed ourselves. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. There was everything you could want to do there without even leaving the cabin not to mention all of the things in Pigeon Forge. Everyone loved the game room, the hot tub and the tv's. Our first impression was "WOW"! We would definately stay here again. Butch is a very nice person to deal with. Our week long stay was amazing at Grand Getaway. The cabin is beautifully decorated and you have great views of the mountains all around. Our 8 year old grandson even told us "we picked the right cabin to stay in." You won't get a much better recommendation than that one. He and his brother enjoyed the game room every day. The kitchen (when I spent a lot of time) is well furnished and allowed me to cook our Thanksgiving dinner with ease. I felt at home all over and sometimes easily forgot that I wasn't at home. We would definitely spend Thanksgiving week there again next year if that is what the family wants to do. The cabin was clean and had all the comforts of home. The cabin and the location were beautiful! It was very clean, beautifully furnished, well-equipped, and well-maintained. I would recommend this property to friends and relatives with children over the age of five as the stairs were quite a challenge for our two grandchildren under the age of two and their parents. We would love to come back again soon!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: As the tag line for our cabin says -- where memories are made and grand kids are spoiled, that's why we bought our cabin and named it Grand Getaway, in honor of our grand kids. We love being 'Nana' and 'Pop' and we love going to the cabin with them.
