This newly constructed home, approximately 4,000 square feet, located at the end of a cul-de-sac in a private estate setting surrounded by five acres of towering pine trees, boasting views of mountain peaks from every room, this is the perfect vacation retreat for family and friends.
The interior design has a European flare with a beautiful designed open floor plan ideal for entertaining. On the main level, this home offers a gourmet kitchen with granite countertops, Dacor six burner gas cook top, double convection oven, microwave, separate warming oven, center island seating area with prep sink, a breakfast nook with gas fireplace to enjoy your morning coffee or tea, formal dining room that flows into a great room with vaulted wood beam ceilings, floor to ceiling windows with beautiful views of the mountain peaks and the historic town of Truckee. Enjoy nightly fires using the stone hearth wood-burning fireplace.
Just down the hall is the master suite, with wood vaulted ceilings, a hydro swirl jet bathtub; great for soothing those tired muscles after a day of skiing or hiking, a beautiful tiled shower, double marble vanity sinks, and private bathroom. Next to the master suite is a guestroom, which has two twin beds and a separate full bathroom with shower. On the lower level, you will enjoy the recreation room with sofa bed, that offers TV, DVD, a ping-pong table, and weight machine for those fitness buffs. On the same level, there are two large nicely decorated bedrooms with queen beds, and a bathroom with a double vanity sink, and separate private bathroom and shower.
Additionally, adjacent to the kitchen is the laundry room, and expansive mudroom perfect for storing your ski equipment and other gear.

This is one awesome home. We went skiing with families where some went skiing and some stayed at the house. The house is very spacious and has great things for the kids to play like ping pong, games, and lots of room to play outside. For adults, there is lots of room for everyone to spread out and have their space. The pictures don't even come close to the ambiance and experience that this home offers. The house has good instructions on how to use the extra things like the wireless internet and home features. We will be going back and my friends were all impressed with the kindness and professionalism that the management showed us while we stayed in their home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

What a wonderful place for a family to gather!! The house was beautiful and well appointed--all the comforts of home and more. Everyone had their own spot to relax and we all gathered around in the open kitchen/living area. The children had their own space to get away from the adults (and us from them) complete with ping pong table and their own separate tv. Best of all, there was no need to leave but some went skiing and some went into Truckee for a spell. We sledded in the back yard, build snowmen and snow forts and just hung out. Then it was so easy to go back inside with the expansive mud room where we could leave all the "wet stuff". It was so much fun!! We can't wait to go back and the family wants to make it an annual affair. Thank you, thank you for your wonderful home! It was so much more than we expected!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

I wish I could stay here year round. I was so sad to leave this amazing retreat from my hectic life. I love all the rooms, but the kitchen with the fire and chairs, looking out on a private mountain view is incredible. I sat there with my cup of tea every morning before my husband and kids woke up and just luxuriated in the serenity of this home. Coming from the Bay Area, surrounded by neighbors close by, it was so special to have this secluded private acreage to enjoy, with snowplay, snowshoeing, sledding, etc, along with all the beautifully appointed rooms. I cannot wait to sign up for my summer getaway. I am trying to figure out a way to leave the family home next time and enjoy it all on my own or with a group of girlfriends. Downtown Truckee with all of its quaint stores and character, is close enough to get to. I was so happy to not be at Northstar with all that traffic and people on top of each other, except for when I wanted to ski. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
