Two (2) girlfriends and I took a last minute trip to Park City, Utah and were lucky enough to be able to stay at the Wine Cave for a few nights. The condo is unbelievable with three (3) full baths and two (2) huge bedrooms. It is furnished for your comfort...leather, modern touches...dvds, hot tub, etc., and I loved the board games! The location is right in Silver Lake and there is a bus stop across the street to go to Main Street. We can't wait to go back again!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My family has been coming to Black Bear for the past five years, twice a year, during ski season. We have stayed in many different units on the property. This unit, however, is the best unit by far. It is beautifully furnished and generously appointed. It makes you feel like you are home, as opposed to in a cold, sterile vacation rental. My favorites include: the polycarbonate wine glasses, wine openers, extra pillows, large "hot tub towels", and last, but not least, the hot tub cover "opener".. We loved staying here and will certainly be back.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We came for a week in the off season to have some much needed peace and quiet from all the hustle of the big city. The weather was perfect and the Condo provided exactly what we needed. We had the best time. The condo location is super close to all the local activities that are just around the corner. The Condo provided a great kitchen to make your own food, the beds were very relaxing and the living space was large and comfortable. Thank you!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My wife and three kids stayed at the wine lodge at the end of march 2012. Wonderful accommodations, the loft made it perfect for the 5 of us, closer walk to the complimentary ski storage at silver lake than the parking lots are to the complimentary ski storage at the base of the mountain. Clean, beautiful, may not be ski in ski out, but it's as close as you'll get and spend a lot less money for it. ThanksRecommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We loved our visit to Deer Valley and the condo was perfect for our needs. It was cozy and had a great kitchen. We used the hot tub almost daily after our skiing! I would highly recommend this place to others. We have a family of four and it was terrific. I would recommend to the owners to update with one new non stick skillet! Hats off to Cece for a cool place near the slopes. Would LOVE to come again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this property! Everything was immaculate and condo was very well stocked with coffee & espresso makers, wine fridge. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony on sunny days, the hot tub was always ready! Two king beds were nice and beds were ultra comfortable, not something you always find in ski rentals. My son enjoyed freshly baked chocolate chip cookies from BB Lodge lobby often! The location was awesome...quick walk to the slopes and restaurants at Silver Lake. Fabulous stay, we will be back, thank you Cece! We really enjoyed our stay at the Wine/Bear Cave!! The condo was warm, cozy, and nicely decorated. The children loved the log style furniture and the hot tub was soothing on those rarely used ski muscles. We enjoyed cocoa by the gas fireplace every night. We also enjoyed the supply of movies and music. The king beds were of superb quality -- exactly as needed after a day of skiing. The kitchen was fully stocked -- owner even included all of the basic supplies making our stay easy. The full size washer dryer was a nice amenity -- able to wear your favorite ski clothes the next day. Generous linens and kitchen towels made for a comfortable stay. The owner is friendly, responsive, and honest. We loved our stay at the Wine/Bear Cave and hope to return soon!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Thanks for sharing your pheneominal "cave" with us! There is nothing like retiring to a massive leather couch and jacuzzi after a day on the slopes. Your tastes are impeccable across the board. We will be back as soon as possible.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Your "Bear Cave" is so attractive and beautifully decorated. We loved reacquainting ourselves with Deer Valley and cannot believe how it has grown. Between "skiing" and "filming" we did not have enough time to enjoy your cozy condo. Loved the location also. Hopefully we will return again in 2012!Did you find this review helpful? Owner info
Year Purchased: 2010
About the owner: We have an active vibrant family with four adult children who are scattered around the U.S. Travel and sports are our common denominators--boating, swimming, baseball, football, hiking, skiing, scuba diving and more. Home base has been Marietta, Georgia for over 20 years, but we have lived in Texas, Kentucky, Virginia, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio. And now have added Utah to our list of homes away from home!
Why the Owner Chose Black Bear Lodge:
We have skied in many of the big ski areas including Colorado, Tahoe, Jackson Hole, Whistler, Banff, Treblant, and even Sky Valley, Georgia. About five years ago we started coming to Park City and just fell in love with this extraordinarily beautiful area. The town is genuinely quaint and offers a truly unique combination of down home and trendy. The number and variety of ski resorts within a short distance of each other and the proximity of the Salt Lake City International Airport makes it possible to be skiing the same day as you fly in from almost anywhere in the U.S. AND in addition to the multiple choices of ski resorts, you have so many other choices like other winter sports ice skating, cross country skiing, snowmobiling and more. The Utah Olympic Park offers many opportunities to watch future Olympians in training and hosts world level competitions. The beauty of the area is also reflected in the abundance of local artists and art galleries. And of course the Sundance Film Festival also has its various associated activities throughout the year, too. PC is THE place to be!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Krups Automatic Espresso/Cappuccino maker, Cuisinart Wine Cellar cooler, Wine Enthusiast Polycarbonate stemware for use in the hot tub, comfy premium hotel quality terry robes and all the deluxe accoutrements of first class accommodations
