My family of four recently stayed at this lovely home and it was the best mini-vacation we have had in a very long time. Although aptly described above by the owners, this home was even more than we expected. The kitchen had absolutely everything I could ever need (including a "Magic Bullet" mixer, I have one at home and was thrilled to see they had one). The furnishings and layout were very comfortable and the deck delightful for enjoying meals. In spite of how difficult it was to actually leave the home and explore the area we did and had a great time rafting, hiking, zip lining, eating and generally being a tourist. Visit the local tourist bureau in downtown Angels Camp before planning your activities as the staff there are extremely helpful and they will give you a VIP card which offers discounts on some popular activities. I recommend Sunshine Rafting Adventures (Robert is an excellent guide), Moaning Caverns, hiking the Natural Bridges trail and exploring the local lakes.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
