Our home is located on the south mountain in Harmony, overlooking Greenwood and the Annapolis Valley. This quiet, peaceful farming community is an ideal location for a base to explore the many maritime attractions.
If you travel during the fall season, come enjoy the spectacular fall colors. If you visit in the winter there will be plenty of opportunity for snow related activities such as x-country skiing and snow shoeing in the 30 acre woods included in the property. Downhill skiing can be found a short drive away at Martock Ski Mtn. Spring and summer is a time to enjoy the flowers and gardens with your own pond that brings plenty of wildlife for your enjoyment. Close to home include attractions like the Greenwood Aviation Museum, the Bay of Fundy with the highest tides in the world only 25 min away, Halifax is 1.5 hrs, Kejimkujik National Park 1.5 hrs and Peggy’s Cove is 2 hrs from our home. If you have children don't forget Upper Clements theme park and discovering fossils at Blue Beach.
If it is the people you have come to meet, we have family close by who would enjoy sharing in your adventures and assist you in locating the local 'hot spots' for food, shopping, entertainment and attractions. A tour of the family farm can be organized or a trip to the local zoo. The community of Greenwood has an aviation museum and a world class workout facility/gym/pool for use by the general public.
Our cedar home was built in 2001 with an open style and lots of natural light. We have a fully stocked kitchen with plenty of extras to help you entertain your friends. The living room has a woodstove that keeps away the cold on those cool winter evenings. The main bedroom includes and on-suit bathroom with a jet tub and walk in steam shower. There is a bunk bed in one of the guest rooms, a double bed in the other and also a pull out couch in the loft for plenty of room for sleeping. We provide all lawn care, gardening andsnow removal for our guests.
With today's modern technology we purposely do not have cable or internet to get away from it all. If this is a necessity for your visit please, let us know and we will have these connected for you upon arrival.

A beautiful home in the country yet close to everything! This was the perfect home base for exploring the Annapolis Valley and Nova Scotia. A easy drive to fantastic sites and adventures. The house is perfect for a family with 3 bedrooms, a lovely kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Modern, clean, and spacious. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for the ideal vacation home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Damage Deposit = 50% of total stay is required 30+ days to secure reservation.
100% of this is refundable 30 days prior to stay.
Payment 2
100% total payment due 1 month prior to stay.
If cancellation 29-7 days prior to stay the Damage Deposit is not refundable.
If cancellation 7 days prior to stay only Damage Deposit is refundable.

Pet fee = $50 per animal
Cleaning fee = $100

About the owner: My wife and I enjoy travelling with our children and experiencing new places. We work in BC and built our home in Nova Scotia to always have a place close to her family. We have traveled to many places and stayed in hostels, hotels and vacation rental properties through VRBO. We have had great experiences through this site and thought that we would offer visitors the same opportunity in our little part of the world, called Harmony.

The 30 acres that this property sits on is a mixed forest with a pond and lots of wildlife. We have fruit trees and many flowing plants and shrubbery surrounding the house.
