Our cottage, which has a newly renovated kitchen -- new wood floors and painted in "beach" tones and new furnishings, is a platinum rated, 3-bedroom cottage in sought after Inlet Cove, is the place for a vacation any time of the year or even a long term rental.
The great room has abundant, comfortable seating surrounding a 42" HD flat screen TV with an adjoining dining room and office area.
The fully equipped kitchen will allow for cooking great family meals. Our kitchen even includes a full capacity ice maker -- great for filling your cooler that you will be taking to the beautiful Kiawah beach! There is nothing you need to bring except food. Don't worry about your margaritas -- blender and margarita glasses are also supplied. Enjoy your meals at the breakfast bar, dining room or the screened porch with a beautiful view of the river.
The 3-bedrooms include a master suite with adjoining bath. The other two bedrooms -- one with a queen bed and the other with twin beds are connected by another full bath.
This is one of the best private community pools on the island (with kiddie pool) and bath house along with a magnificent dock on the river where you can fish, catch crabs, cast your shrimp net, boat or kayak. A short walk or bike ride along a tree-covered leisure trail takes you to the West Beach Village (with ice cream shop, casual dining and shopping), the local general store or the beach.
We have a convenient front desk location at Freshfield Village -- only a 10 minute bike ride now with the new bike path open. Should any problems arise during your stay, the cottage comes with an on-site property manager, 24-hours/day, seven days/week.
If golf and tennis are your passion, you have come to the perfect vacation spot - Kiawah's 5 golf courses were designed by Nicklaus, Dye, Fazio, Johnston and Player. The famous Ocean Course was host to the 2007 Senior PGA Championship and will host the 2012 PGA Championship. Tennis Magazine has rated Kiawah the #1 Greatest US Tennis Resort.

We had a great stay over our spring break this April. The beach is about a 5-7 minute walk away, walking/running/bike paths are even closer. Kiawah is such an awesome place to visit. The cottage was clean and updated and everything was as it is pictured in the online photos. We were able to get the combination from the owner very quickly so we had a secure place to store our bikes, boogie boards, etc in the storage area under the house. Since we brought our dog with us, our options for rentals were somewhat limited but we were really glad to find this place!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Terrific cottage to stay in at Kiawah. The screened in porch over looks the Kiawah River. We spent a lot of time reading and playing games on the porch. The cottage is beautiful inside and is very well equipped.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway.

My husband and I rented this cottage at Inlet Cove for five weeks from the last week in Dec.'10 through Jan. '11. Although the weather was unusually cool some days, only a few times did it affect our walking on the beach, nearly secluded this time of year, or riding bicycles on the bike paths all over the island. We found the cottage to be exceptionally comfortable and well-equipped to accommodate an extended vacation. Both the owners of the cottage and the management agency provided information and assistance that was helpful for first-time visitors to Kiawah Island. It is a short walk from the cottage to the beach and a short bike ride to Fresh Fields Village. It is approximately one-half hour drive to Charleston. The location of the cottage is perfect for enjoying the serenity of the beach and the beauty of the island and at the same time take in the charm of historic Charleston. After a five-week stay, Inlet Cove was beginning to feel like home and it was difficult to leave the island and its beautiful environment. It goes without saying, we are anxious to return.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
