Immaculate and well equipped, this chalet-style home is located on a wooded, 1/2 acre lot in the beautiful, private resort community of "Masthope Mountain", a four season community with endless things to do! All ammenties are included with your rental. New lodge with restaurant, plasma tv's, sports bar, scheduled adult and family activities, food court, pool tables, ping pong, game room, conference facilities available. Our Non-Smoking home has a wrap-around deck with table, chairs, and gas grill. The first floor consists of an entry foyer with double closet, living room with fireplace (wood burning), dining room table seats 8, fully-stocked kitchen with all newer appliances and pot/pans you would need to cook up a fabulous meal! The first floor bedrooms each have a queen bed. There is a full bath (tub/shower). There is a laundry room and half bath in the basement.
The second level has a loft with sitting couch (great for reading) or enjoy the view out of the two-story windows at the stars. There is a third bedroom featuring a queen size bed as well a trundle bed. The second full bath has a stall shower.
Masthope features our very own 250-acre private lake which allows motor boats and jet skis,compliemtary paddle boats/canoes,fishing, sailing, boating, swimming, beach volleyball, barbecue pits, bocci ball, barbacues and restaurant on the beach. Pool is Olympic-size with water slides,diving board,kiddie pool, lifeguards, pool side bar. Private stables with indoor outdoor and trail rides available,tennis, basketball, racquetball, hand ball, picnic tables, barbabcue pits, bar/restaurant/pizzeria,fitness center with classes, massages are available for a fee. Home of Ski Big Bear which offers 18 trails, on-site rentals, lifts, magic carpet, snow tubing, snow making, cross country skiing, receive 25% ski discount as our guest. Newly built Country Store sells basic grocerie items, milk,bread,sandwiches,deli meats,soups, etc.
Nearby Hawley and Honesdale offer terrific antique shopping, great restaurants, Walmart, Kmart, Pizza Hut, Dunkin Doughnuts, Movie theatre etc .
