Great getaway for a couple. Clean and with everything we needed. So quiet and peaceful. The underground garage was great for those mountain summer afternoon rainstorms. Close to many hiking trails.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.
Owner response: After a day of hiking, there is nothing like the peace and quiet of mountain life. I'm glad you enjoyed your visit. Thanks, Debby

Nice clean unit, great bed, the unit is small, but nicely done, a real bargin in this area at the quoted rates. Would stay there again if only for a night or two...longer stays would need a little more room.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+.
Owner response: Delighted to hear that you would return to my vacation studio. A great bed does make for a good nights sleep. Look forward to your next visit. Thanks, Debby

Our stay was short but comfortable. The property was clean, small and nicely appointed. Since we were mainly visiting Durango on this visit, it was a bit far from town; but the environment more than made up for the distance we had to drive. We would choose to stay here again!Recommended for: Age 55+.
Owner response: Comfortable is my goal & returning guest are always a pleasure. Thanks, Debby

We enjoyed our stay at the Cascade Village very much! The unit was nicely decorated, very clean, and appropriately described! It is not handicapped accessible as we had hoped as there were steps up to the building and again down to the first floor! The unit was all on one level, but there was no access in through the patio. It was quiet and once in the unit very comfortable! It was reasonably priced which was greatly appreciated!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Thank You, I do appreciate your positive comments & description. For future guest, I now understand the difference in "a few steps" & Handicap Accessible. I'm always learning. Thank You, Debby

About the owner: My wife And I are working hairstylist who enjoy all outdoor activities. Playing golf is how we enjoy most of our time at home. Durango has some great courses also. We have been vacationing at Cascade (used to be Purgatory) since 1989. Skiing became a new passion a few years ago so we decided to make it a winter vacation retreat. The people are so friendly, we love it and know you will too!
