  Because of my very busy life, I decide to get away for a few days to Santa Barbara. I was so pleased to find Bella's sweet little room and it fit my needs perfectly. The room was beautiful and soft and inviting. So many little details had been carefully taken care of to make my stay extremely comfortable and hassle free. Bella herself was one of the things that made my trip so enjoyable and I felt like I had a new friend in Santa Barbara by the time I left. I would highly recommend this property for anyone wanting a little home away from home.

  Located just 2 blocks off State Street, this studio is in a perfect spot for exploring all the shops, restaurants and bars of downtown Santa Barbara. Bella is very easy to work with and was quick to respond to all emails. The studio (Orchid) has a small bathroom with shower, sink, bed and tv. I spent most of my time out and about when I was in Santa Barbara but this was a perfect, convenient place to rest my head each night.

  I came up from LA for a week long assignment in Santa Barbara. Although my company allowed me a generous lodging account, there was nothing available. I found Bella's place through a friend and I was so happy I'd been unsuccessful in my hotel search! I walked to my office every day for the week I was there and actually, other than 1 day of touring the Santa Ynez Valley, I didn't even get in my car once! Everything, office, shops, restaurants, everything, I did downtown I walked to. The Lavender Suite was so cute and quiet and clean with no surprises. It looked just like on VRBO. When I arrived, Bella met me, and when I entered the room she had the electric fireplace lit for me along with 2 bottles of Voss water and 2 Ferrero Rocher chocolates. It was as welcoming as could be. Bella is a wonderful source of local knowledge, full of great recommendations for any and all activities. I travel to Santa Barbara 4 times a year for a week at a time for business and I will always stay here from now on! Thank you a million times over Bella!!

  A perfect find for a fun, private, cozy, and convenient time in Santa Barbara. A friend and I came up from San Diego for a relaxing SB getaway, and what a find! So convenient, we rode our bikes downtown and all around both days. We walked to Starbucks one morning for coffee, it was about 2 or 3 minutes away, and the other we stayed in our room where there was a coffee maker and coffee plus condiments. Everything we needed to be comfortable. Nice bed, nice towels in the bathroom, toiletries, free cable & wifi and the backyard garden is sooo nice. It's completely private and has furniture, a fountain and lots of really pretty plants. I feel lucky to have found this spot!

  My husband and I came up to SB for a 3 day weekend getaway as we often do. Our usual hotel was booked solid, as were all the others in town. A friend recommended Bella's place in downtown. We were hesitant but we booked a suite and wow were we pleasantly surprised! After meeting in front of the property, we were escorted to our private parking spot just steps from a gate that opened to our own, secluded garden! The studio inside was so comfortable, and clean and had everything we needed. The owner, Bella, even had a chilled bottle of wine waiting for us, she had planned this with my husband when he contacted her. It was great, I think the studio was better than the pictures showed on the website. We brought our dog, who enjoyed the fenced in yard and we walked EVERYWHERE! Even down to the beach and back in the mornings. We have booked our next stay and will always contact Bella first whenever we're coming up to SB in the future! Thanks Bella!!

  Thank you Bella! The Garden Suite was the perfect little getaway we were looking for! 5 min walking from the heart of downtown, quiet, comfy, and clean. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a little peace and quiet while still being right in the middle of it all! Cheers

  My friend and I were in town because we were bridesmaids for a wedding. The hotels were out of our budget and were sooo lucky to have found this place. It is so cute and so comfortable. The private backyard is like a little paradise! Inside, the bed was really comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy some meals at home, the bathroom had lots of towels. Everything was really clean and great. Bella, the owner, even arranged to have a hair stylist come to the room to do our hair before the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding! Though we had a busy weekend this time, I plan to come back up with my boyfriend over Christmas vacation. Thanks so much Bella!!!!

  My husband and I stayed here in May. We were lucky to have perfect weather so could make the most of the private garden which was sunny and peaceful. The studio was exactly as described. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom well stocked. The location of the studio was perfect and we walked everywhere. We would not hesitate to recommend and hope to return one day.

  The owner was very accommodating answering questions before I arrived and meeting me right away when I got in. She even met me when I locked myself out after a jog one morning right away! She was very helpful about what touring around I thought I would do and helped with directions etc. The place was cute and just perfect for myself and I would say for a couple. It has a full kitchen, stocked with dishes, spices, and coffee! A very comfy bed and a clean bathroom. The back patio with the soothing water spout and orange tree made for a perfect winding down sitting area after a long day touring around. The location couldnt have been better. It is walkable to all major historic sites off State street and even walkable to the pier and beach. (you may want to drive). Parking was always available on street and it was a quiet neighborhood so I didn't have to worry about noisy neighbors. I would stay here again if I find myself in sunny south Cal again!

  This cute quaint little cottage was spectacular! The private yard is darling, and the inside is amazing. The whole place was very clean and the kitchen was filled with things you need to cook! There was also a flat screen, and cute vanity for doing your make up! The bed was more comfortable than most hotels, and it was definitely a more charming experience than any hotel. Walking distance to GREAT shopping and restaurants, I would definitely stay here again. The landlord was there getting another property ready and she was very welcoming and it was not awkward at all. She even loved our puppy bulldog, and there was no pet fee! =) We also got a 3rd night free, and it was Halloween weekend, a very busy time for Santa Barbara. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

  My girlfriends and I decided to take a trip up north for the weekend and were so thankful to have found this FABULOUS place right in the middle of Santa Barbara. We love to roam around new places and were able to do so by foot because it was centrally located to everything that you can possibly need. Not to mention, the owner was extremely nice which made our stay all the more pleasant! We were so glad to have chosen this place instead of renting a room in a fancy overpriced hotel. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a weekend getaway or short vacation!

  I visit Santa Barbara frequently and used to stay at hotels, until I found this place! Its located right in the middle of downtown close to everything, you don't need a car! My wife and I love it! We get our own private garden where our little dog Roxy can roam around. Also the owner is extremely nice and will do whatever is necessary to make you feel at home. The unit is very fairly priced and you get much more than staying at a hotel. I highly recommend this place and will keep staying there for a long time.

  My husband and I stayed in this studio when we were in town for a wedding. It was absolutely perfect!! The reception was at a downtown location so we were able to walk and not bother with parking. The studio is private and the garden area is beautiful with so many pretty potted plants and a fountain. It was just as the website described it to be. The bed was comfortable and beautiful, the kitchen well stocked so we could cook there and the bathroom was really clean and had lots of nice towels. We will come back and stay many more times!!!

  I have stayed in hotels, inns, B&B's, etc. all over the world and this property was first class. Great location near SB's downtown, very clean, safe and easy to use. The owner was very accommodating and her customer service 5 star. Thank you! I will definitely be staying there again.
