  We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very nice and it was better in person than the photos. It was very clean. The area was very nice and we would definitely recommend the place and we would like to go back in the future. The lake was beautiful, we caught some fish and the leaves were starting to turn, which made the scenery even better.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

  Our family of 4 loved our stay here! The cottage was very clean, perfectly appointed and located in a great spot. Just 10 minutes from Petoskey State Park and the "big" lake, we could spend the day jumping waves in Lake Michigan and come home to enjoy our lakefront view for sunsets, cookouts and bonfires. Shopping/eating in Petoskey and Harbor Springs is close by, as well as bike trails and locally caught (and smoked) whitefish at nearby markets. We definately would return.

  The kids loved the beach. You don't need to bring chairs or toys. There are plenty to share. The cottage had comfy beds, and great TVs. The wireless reached the beach and boat slip! If you are staying for a week, do bring enough essential clothes and extra bath towels or plan on laundry time. The cottage is right on route 31 so it is very easy to find whatever you need. Go right for Alanson and great pancakes at Pauly's Home Cooking, or left for Petoskey State Park (about 15 minutes), and the beautiful Bay. We spent some days at the Crooked Lake beach only. We rented a boat at Ryde Marine and took the waterways to Burt Lake. Burt Lake was great for tubing. It is huge. We also spent several days driving to beaches and the fun cities of Charlevoix, Harbor Springs and Petoskey. It really is a good location for getting anywhere Up North.

  This cottage was great for my husband and I and our two boys. It was clean, comfortable and perfect for our week Up North. The cottage itself is decorative, cozy, very well maintained and just the right size. The resort enabled our kids to never be bored. Volleyball, basketball, bonfires and the unbeatable beach. We will definitely return! It is the perfect location for a small family. Thanks.

  Our family had a wonderful vacation! Crooked lake is a beautiful lake to ski, knee board, fish and to relax. The resort is beautiful. Take a relaxing boat ride through the channels of Indian River to Burt lake to Mullet lake. It has everthing you need for a relaxing family vacation! The town of Petoskey has so much to offer. The trail from downtown Petoskey to Harbor Springs is a beautiful seanic route. Stop by the Not Bar for a great Lunch or dinner! This is a Family Vacation we plan on for many years to come!

  Charming 2 bedroom cottage, with a beautiful beach and lots to do for the kids. My boys enjoyed playing volleyball, fishing, swimming, horseshoes, basketball-just steps outside of the door. We had bonfires at night, and brought our jet ski-free ramp just down the road. Plenty of lawn chairs at the beach to enjoy the great sunsets. The cottage is clean and well-maintained. Lots of restaurants and places to visit nearby. We will definitely return for more vacations at this location.
