We enjoyed our winter vacation at this property very much. Location is terific and in a nice residential area handy to restaurants, shopping, golf courses, beaches and the arts and threatrical venues. The property is spacious and the furnishings were very comfortable. The fruit trees were a nice bonus as we had a adequate supply of fresh fruit all winter. The pool area is very nice and a great place to entertain; however the patio furniture needs to be replaced as it is very old and some in need of repair. I do feel it is just a matter of time and the owner will do this as he has only within the last year or so purchased the property. This is also true of the garage which was full of boxes and stuff which appeared to be from a former residence and not yet sorted through and disposed of or amalgamated with the Villa del Sol property. The kitchen is well equipped ( too much so as there are many duplicates and triplicates creating clutter and using up good cupboard space) with good appliances except for the microwave which should be replaced as it is one of the first invented. The property needs updating as to flooring and window coverings. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had and the listing photos were quite accurate as well as the description of the property. We had a great four months at Villa del Sol and would recommend this property to our friends and family and we do plan to return for another winter in the future. We look forward to seeing all the changes to the property and enjoying another wonderful winter in Sarasota @ Villa del Sol; a terrific place to call home.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+.

The house, the pool and the accomodations were excellent. We would recommend to friends and family. If you are planning a stay in Sarasota you cannot beat this location with its proximity to stores and shopping as well as the major highways. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.Recommended for: Families with teenagers.

TBy far was one of the best vacations ever. This Villa was everything it promised to be. Very clean, very comfortable and lots of amenties. Nicely furnished, you couldn't ask for a better place to stay. It was also a great value compared to many other places we inquired about. One of our best vacations ever. Great house,great value. It was close to everything we wanted and the house was immaculate. We could not have asked for anything better. We also plan to return.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

This is a beautiful and spacious home. Lots of amenities, great location with a heated pool and spa. The owners were incredibly gracious and welcomed us with a basket of goodies.
