We absolutely LOVED the place! After a week of being in hotels and just hitting the sack, this was a pleasant change to have a place that was peaceful and relaxing. The cabin was clean and just right for our family of 4. The bathroom was luxurious and the kitchen well equipped. The hosts were generous with their time showing us their many animals, allowing us to feed them, letting us enjoy their dogs, sharing their laundry room, and making my child's day by making smores after a wet rainy day! The kids loved taking the dogs out and would not leave our cabins on each of the days we stayed until after we had taken the walk with the dogs! The sound of the Sol Duc river, the pleasant walk over the mossy bridge and the wonderful hosts made us wish we lived close enough to make this an easy weekend trip for years to come. I would definitely recommend this place!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Thanks Michelle and John for your hospitality. As other reviewers have said, this place is clean and comfortable, and the photographs match the place. We were met by John who gave us a tour of the mini farm and garden. Each evening John made a campfire where he provided the ingredients for s'mores. It was a great place for city kids to unwind. The river rushing sound through open windows was very peaceful. The property is about 20 minutes outside of the town of Forks, which has a large supermarket, so we were able to cook mostly for ourselves and prepare picnics for our hikes to Hoh and Sol Ducs rain forests, and La Push on the coast, all within an hour drive. Next time we hope to plan a much longer stay.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

The Cabins at Beaver Creek exceeded my expectations! We were pleased to enter into this farm/ rainforest-like setting, not far from the main road, but seemingly isolated. John and Michelle were excellent hosts who chatted with us when we were out exploring the property. We even borrowed one of their dogs for a fun walk in the woods nearby! The cabin itself was so cozy and quaint. It had a warm, almost rustic feel, but there were many nice amenities, such as the wall-mounted tv with blueray disc player and the timed gas fireplace. We loved it here and will definitely come back if we are in the area!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We stayed at the 1 BR cabin for 2 nights and it is actually more like a small home. It was very clean and we prepared two wonderful fish dinners in the compact kitchen accompanied by some very nice Columbia Valley wine. We enjoyed visiting Rialto Beach and the Hoh Rainforest. I enjoyed walking down by the river, seeing the horses in the pasture and relaxing with my spouse of 48 years on the front porch. It was very peaceful while we were there and Michelle was a gracious host. We shall return. About the owner: John and I discovered this fantastic and unique property five years ago. We have been busy building our cabin rentals for the last year and we are excited to be able to share this special place. We are convinced that we live in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
This is a getaway from it all place that brings immediate relaxation. Maybe it's the soothing sound of the river, the huge trees talking in the wind, watching the eagles play or the expanse of private places to explore.
