What a wonderful place to stay, the view was breathtaking, the dolphins were there all day swimming back and forth !! The first night I took the best pic of the sunset and we were up early enough for the sunrise the next day. Hard to decide which was the best !! I have already had to give the condo info out because of the pictures. I want to thank the Joan & Ron for sharing their little slice of heaven with us !! We will be back !!!

We are still at the condo this week, and have already booked it for the same week next year! We have never had a better vacation. Joan is very nice, easy to work with and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this condo. It's only a short distance to Destin and the harbor where there is a variety of things to do. We are just far enough away from all of the large condos and motels to have a nice quiet and relaxing vacation. We are already looking forward to next year and we are not even gone yet.

We had an amazing time at this condo!! It is beautifully decorated and fully equipped with anything you can possibly think of. The view is absolutely breathtaking! We saw dolphins from our balcony every morning! Not only is this a great condo, but the whole building only has nine units, so the beach is NEVER crowded. You could not ask for better owners. It is truly a wonderful place to stay and we will definitely return. All you need is a swimsuit, sunscreen, and a camera, and you are all set. Can't wait til next summer!

Stayed here last Oct. Just had to go back again, Stayed April 16-22-2011 and I was not dreaming in Oct. The place was as Great this time as last. The weather was perfect. Made a trip every day to AJ's in Destin for oysters [$5.98/doz] and a pitcher of Miller Lite [ $ 5.00] from 11:00 to 6:00 I love this place and the owners are "Outstanding" Hope to go back again and again, and again, and again !!!

We just got back from a great week at the beach. The condo is AWESOME. The views are AMAZING. The condo has nice decorations and a nice layout. It is within walking distance of a few good restaurants and other entertainment establishments.The owners are extremely nice and easy to work with. I met Ron when we were there. I'd definitely rent this condo again and I plan to do so in October and as often as possible after that.The beach is not crowded at all due to the complex being smaller. I really enjoy not being around big crowds.We did not watch tv often mainly at lunch and late at night but it would be nice to have bigger flat screen tvs maybe a 32 or 36 in the living room and at least a 19 in the bedroom. The living room has a 19 or 25 in and the bedroom has a 13 inch. That is my only small complaint our overall experience was AMAZING!

This condo is fabulous. There is a wonderful view of the Gulf, it is very clean and has all the ammenties that one would want. The owners are great to work with and are very helpful. We would highly recommend this property.

the condo was very clean and the view excellent . no problems with joan( condo owner ) however condo that was below us was rented to younger adults. they were loud all week and also had 2 dogs. the last 2 nights there were awful with the loud noise and running up the steps by these young people .. we left in the middle of the night on thursday. we will probably not be back to joans condo. she was very nice in all aspects of our rental process...except for what she could not control. jeff roberts

We had a wonderful time here! It was very beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. The first thing you notice walking in to the condo is the amazing view off the balcony. The condo was quiet and relaxing. The best part was being right off the sand, going for walks, watching the pelicans, seeing dolphis in the early morning and looking at the incredible views. We were close enough to walk to and from the boardwalk and we had plenty to do in town. The owners were the best and answered all of my questions. They made me feel comfortable renting from them and I would absolutley rent from them again. There is nothing like visiting the beautiful gulf coast and I cant wait to go back!

Our stay was the second week of Oct. 2010 The condo was outstanding, The owners of the condo were Great people to work with. This would be the type of place a person could move right in and live forever., Weather was perfect, walked on the beach everyday, sunset's the best, beaches were clean, this was just about the most perfect vacation....Just not long enough.

We stayed for a week in August with our 11 year old daughter. I hate to say anything because I would like to keep this marvelous place a secret! The unit was cheery and clean. Views were wonderful. The beach was kept spotless as was the pool and pool area. The owners - I can't say enough great things about them! Great to work with. we will be back again and again.

We loved our stay at the Veranda! The condo was clean and well-maintained, and just the right size for us! Since the building has only nine units, we felt like we were on our own private beach. Plus, the owners were extremely helpful and accomodating. Highly recommend this place to future beach-goers! We will definitely be staying here again!

This is our second year visiting this condo. We absolutely love it. The condo is always nicely kept and it's much quieter than the large condos in Destin. The beach is very easy to access and the location is perfect for a family or a romantic getaway. The owners of this property are always helpful and quick to respond to questions or needs. We were skeptical about making the 13 hour drive here this year with the oil spill, but are SO glad that we made the trip. The water and beach was beautiful and the locals were so happy that we visited. We will continue to stay at this property every time we travel to the area.

MY family stayed here the first week of June and loved it. I have stayed at larger, fancier, and much more expensive condos, but I can honestly say this place is my favorite! Joan was easy to work with and such a kind and helpful person. I hope to return here again soon to this little piece of paradise.

Stayed for a week.. Love it! Nice condo, great place for someone with children. Not so big that you panic if they are out of sight for a moment. Great quiet, relaxing place. Owner is very nice and helpful!

We have stayed at this condo three times and are always anxious to go back. The condo is everything the owners say it is. If you hate the noise and crowds of large condo clusters...this is for you! With only 9 units, it truly seems, as someone else has already posted, as if you have your own beachfront! The owners are wonderful, and we have even met them, as they also have Kentucky ties. If you book here you will not be sorry! Just go and enjoy! GO CATS!!

This is a great location and condo for a family to enjoy the beauty of the Gulf and the feeling of their own private area. We have three girls and they enjoyed every aspect of the condo. Short drives into Ft. Walton and Destin for food and shopping and beautiful walks on the beach to the pier were highlights beyond the the beach/condo. Would definitely stay again!!
