It is our goal to create an experience that has the professional feel of a thoughtful hotel, while providing a space that can allow for more freedom to relax and enjoy your vacation with your family and friends.
Casa Santa Rita is a 3 bed, 2 bath home with a private enclosed yard, BBQ, full kitchen, outdoor dining and patio area. There are a total of 3 beds, one king, one queen, and one full. All are newer, quality mattresses. New for 2012 - Cable TV and WiFi internet access!
This home is only steps to the park and golf course, 2 Blocks to groceries and eateries and close to Firestone Brewery and the famous Hitching Post Restaurant. Just a short drive or bike ride takes you to the best Santa Rita appellation wineries and tasting rooms. It's an easy drive up 101 to Los Olivos and only a 5 minute jaunt to Solvang.

This was our first time staying in the Santa Ynez valley. We typically stay near downtown Santa Barbara, but we'd been wanting to spend an entire weekend exploring the valley without the hassle of a long drive each morning/night. Casa Santa Rita was a perfect home base for us. Short drive from Buellton/Solvang, as well as Los Olivos and everywhere in between. It's located in a very peaceful / quiet neighborhood just outside of Buellton and close to the 101. You can park in the driveway, as well as the street so loading/unloading the car/luggage/etc is a breeze. There is a small backyard with some fruit trees. We ate breakfast out there every morning. The house is stocked with the basics – everything you'd need to fix lunch, dinner, etc. Overall, place was very clean, beds were comfortable, water pressure was good, Internet was fast, etc... Everything that you'd expect! Plus the comfort of a home vs. being stuck in a hotel room. I'd definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Sightseeing.

The house was in excellent shape and ideally met the needs of 3 couples in town for a wedding. We appreciated the effort the owner had gone to leaving information about local restaurants. We were disappointed that while the advertized location of the house was Santa Ynez the actual location was Buellton.Recommended for: Age 55+.
Owner response: Yes, the house is in Buellton, which is in the Santa Ynez Valley (it's a marking thing). I try to be clear on that point, by stating this at the beginning of all my quotes and inquiries. Good news is Buellton is becoming the hip place to be with the new wine making facility and Fig Mtn. Brewery.

We stayed here with another couple on a wine tasting weekend, and fell in love with Casa Santa Rita. The house was clean, spacious and very affordable. Set in a quiet neighborhood, centrally-located to the entire valley - the ideal getaway. The owner was very friendly and helpful when it came to getting tips on great local wineries.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Super convenient house, large enough for 4+, and near lots of stuff. But all of us like a nice shower after a day out, and those shower heads need to be replaced! Also the master shower's hot/cold controls were frozen in place. Never used the kitchen, and barely touched the TV. Other than that - we really enjoyed the area and slept well.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, pet owners.
Owner response: Thank you for the heads up on the shower! We have taken care of that problem so thanks for letting us know. Santa Ynez water has lots of minerals so it can do a number to those shower heads with time.

This charming 3 bedroom is perfect for three couples, a family or girls weekend! It has a full kitchen with backyard grill and tons of entertainment in the living room. The bedrooms are clean and beds super comfortable!! Location-wise, it's near the Santa Rita wine trail and very easy to go wine-tasting from the house. And it's a short drive to Solvang and Los Olivos. Loved our stay and will definitely be returning!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, people with disabilities, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We had a wonderful time staying here. We stayed here for a race in Santa Barbara. This place was perfect, conveniently close to Santa Barbara, and even closer to wine country.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, people with disabilities, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Very nice and clean; kitchen great. Location perfect! The only thing I would change was some local TV stations and/or wireless availability.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners.

We visited the area specifically for the Celebration of Harvest weekend. The house is located in a small quiet neighborhood. Great location to do your wine tasting and many excellent restaurants located nearby. We have rented through VRBO several times and this particular unit would rate high on our list. Many thanks and we will be renting this unit again when bringing along more family members.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners.

We enjoyed the house for three nights during the Labor Day weekend. We were two families: 4 adults and 4 young children, and yet we felt that we had plenty of room - we never felt cramped. The location is very convenient - right off the 101 Freeway and just a minute from an Albertsons and the popular local restaurants; just a few miles from Solvang and the many wonderful wineries in the area. The beds are very comfortable - we slept quite well. Having the barbecue on the patio is great! We cooked dinner on it each night. The place was clean and well kept. We would definitely rent this place again the next time we're up that way.Recommended for: Families with young children.
