This wonderful, fully equipped cozy cabin in the woods provided exactly what we wanted for our winter's stay. A private wonderland for walking, snowshoeing, backcountry skiing right out your door. Eldora ski area fifteen minutes away. No Interstate 70 traffic! 25 minutes down to Boulder if you need some city life. Nearby owners who were very hospitable and helpful, Many outdoor areas to explore. Quiet tiny town of Rollinsville with slightly larger town of Nederland only 5 miles away. Highly recommend this charming place for your next getaway. We shall return to this lucky find!

Well stocked and excellent location for a vacation any time of the year. We enjoyed the welcomed basket and all of the activitity brochures left for us. Most importantly, we enjoyed meeting the owners who offered any assistance in finding our way through the wooded paths on the property to the best places not to miss. We found the cabin very clean, comfortable, and contained everything we needed from wi-fi to comfortable beds. Large windows provided terriffic views of the property. The cabin is just a short drive to Nederland and Eldora Mountain. We definitely plan to return.

My parents came up from Texas and thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day vacation here. The cabin is very beautiful and comfortable and cozy on the inside. It felt so natural to just sit around the fire, read, and spend time together! The porch, although not used during this winter visit, was huge, with 4 amazing bunk beds that look so amazing for summer vacations. We drove around the valley down to Moffat tunnel, and there were tons of snowshoeing trails, and cross country skiing trails to explore. Summertime would make tons of off roading trails that go on for miles. Eldora Ski Lodge is a few minutes down the road, and Nederland is just 10 minutes away, which has several great restaurants. My parents LOVED their stay and said it was the best christmas present they've ever had. Everything was clean, and comfortable. The Adler family, who lives on the 40 acres around the cabin, were available to help when I couldn't figure out how to light the gas fireplace. The photos of this place don't do it justice. I'd HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone considering renting.

My father and I found the cabin to be just as advertised. It is comfortably furnished and equipped for a relaxing weekend away fom the city. The land it is situated on provides ample trails for light dayhiking and biking. Best of all it is an easy 1+ hour drive from the Denver Metro area meaning you don't have to waste your vacation with windshield time. Rollinsville has little to offer as far as shopping and dining but both Central City and Nederland are easy drives and Estes Park is only about an hour away. I would recommend this rental for anyone wanting out of the city for some relaxation and quiet.

We had a most enjoyable three-night stay at the Adler's vacation home. We were with our adult daughter who was anxious to get away from the Nebraska heat and do some hiking at elevation. We found this location an excellent jumping off point for hiking the Indian Peaks Wilderness - which we did three days in a row. Coming back from our "climbs" to this most comfortable home was a big plus for us. We were impressed by 1) how clean the home was, 2) how quiet the surroundings were, and 3) how friendly and helpful the owners were. The huge screened-in porch, the hummingbirds, welcome basket, music room, and game closet were all added bonuses. We hope to return with our snowshoeing friends this winter.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this comfortable home. The owners were wonderfully friendly and helpful. The property is well-maintained and has plenty of books and games. Our children especially enjoyed the unique feature of the fresh-air bunk beds out on the large screened deck. Rollinsville is a quiet and peaceful town within easy reach of Nederland. In Rollinsville we recommend the 'Stage Stop', an 1868 restaurant with character, shove ha'penny and a short but quality menu (the 'loaded' oatmeal is great). Our kids enjoyed the Carousel in Nederland which was hand carved by a single individual over many years! We all loved the Georgetown loop scenic railroad which is about a one-hour drive from the cabin. You can also tour a silver mine as part of the trip - this impressed our 6-year-old very much. The Indian Peaks are close at hand as well as other great trails in the Eldora area. Wish we could have stayed longer.

My family stayed at this property in the week between Christmas and NY this past season. The house was perfect for our party of 5--two adults and three teens. We are outdoorsy people, and the location could not have suited us better -- a hiker's paradise. Step right outside your back door and wander through woods and spectacular mountain scenery to your heart's delight. The cabin is very cozy in winter, with lots of living space to spread out --there are two large living room areas. It is clean, well-maintained and stocked with ample linens, towels, and some cooking supplies. Ken's brother and nephew lived in the compound and were extremely helpful, assisting us when we locked ourselves out on a very cold night, and showing us the best snowshoeing trails. The property is just a very short drive from the community of Nederland, a fun little town, and about 40 min from Boulder (probably shorter in favorable weather conditions.) Great skiing at Eldora, to, just 20 min away. We hope to return in the summer months and take advantage of the sleeping areas on the lovely screened porch. Thies family Highly recommended

Owner response: Thank you Jeanie and Kurt for your lovely review. It was our pleasure to snowshoe out into the national forest with you and the kids. We hope you will return in the summer to enjoy the miles of outback trails either on foot or with your mountain bikes. Best regards from my wife Karen, nephew Marty and myself.

It was an awesome rental!! I have stayed in rental properties from Mo to Iceland to Nova Scotia and this was one of the best experiences we've had. Your brother and nephew were also wonderful, helpful resources. We are looking at returning in summer 2013.

Our stay was a wonderful experience. This cabin was truly a restful and relaxing getaway. The owners were so friendly and helpful plus they provided a welcome basket that included many local publications, activity and trails guides plus treats too! The cabin is equipped with everything you could possible want or need and immaculately clean too. The beds were comfy and towels soft and fluffy, comfort all the way! The kitchen was fully equipped as well. The cabin is nestled in the pine and aspen forest, spending time on the screened in porch was so enjoyable. If you do feel compelled to leave the property the area offers so much to do and see. We highly recommend this cabin for your next vacation. Our only complained is we didn't want to leave!!!! We are planning next year's visit already and are planning to stay longer!!

Everything about this "cabin" was exceptionally great!  Having been a summer home for the gracious Adler family, all of the amenities and lots of the fun and warmth have been left in place.  It's hard to imagine a kitchen gadget that wasn't there already....so much you don't need to be concerned about bringing yourself!  The beds are very comfy, there is plenty of living space for everyone it sleeps; and not enough praise can be given to the amazing screened porch!  The pictures just don't do it justice.  This is a beautiful location for doing a little of this and a little of that as far as activities in the mountains goes.  I highly recommend this place for an energizing and relaxing vacation!
