I would recommend Russell as an ideal luxury apartment to stay in when in London. I found the location and the quality of the apartment perfect. This ensured that I had a fantastic stay over the 7 nights that my husband and I were in London in February 2013 and attests to the fact that I am prepared to write a review as a result! Russell is near all the prestigious sights and important landmarks in London. It is a stone’s throw from The Science Museum, The National History Museum, and The Victoria & Albert Museum and Kensington Gardens, Holland Park and Hyde Park are also nearby. The flat itself is located on Marloes Road, (which is a tree-lined street that links one to Kensington High Street, with its beautiful parks)- as well as being within the eye of the exclusive settings of Knightsbridge and Chelsea also. With a choice of 2 underground subway stations within a 10 minute walk, there are also oodles of London red buses around the corner from the flat, so you can be in Harrods- Oxford Street and Bond Street or the King’s Rd in minutes. The rental’s appearance and amenities live up to the expectations one gets from the pictures listed on the site. The apartment is decorated to a very high standard with beautiful oak wooden floors and furniture and fixtures that have been tastefully chosen to establish a bright and light zone of high quality luxury and comfort. We found that the kitchen was very well equipped and spotless. An un-interrupted Wi-Fi connection was an added bonus that allowed me to prepare and research the many restaurants and pursuits we planned throughout our stay, as well as to keep in touch with the folks- who envied us living the London life! We found the flat was beside the very best amenities in Kensington and discovered some we didn’t even know existed. We discovered the Stratford Village area of Kensington - as we walked up to Notting Hill for the market in Portobello on the Saturday morning and found two delightful and exclusive award winning pubs on Edwards Square and Pembroke Square are also close by. We will definitely book Russell again and we are happy to recommend Russell to a friend or relative. The independence of staying in a high quality apartment like Russell was a bonus because the standard and location of the apartment is exceptional.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

This flat is very comfortable and in a superb location, with easy access to Kensington and Chelsea by foot (or if you're lazy like me by tube which is only a couple of minutes' walk!). Everything is super clean and works perfectly. What more could you want?! Highly recommended.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children.
Owner response: London is a fantastic walking city but I agree, sometimes it’s nice to just hop on the tube and let your feet have a break! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay, thank you for taking the time to write a review.

My husband and I stayed here over Christmas, and thoroughly enjoyed this gorgeous property. It felt just like home, extremely relaxing and very comfy. I had all the mod cons I needed, including wireless internet and cable TV. The apartment is away from the main road and very quiet. It has a 24hr porter and feels a secure building. We were right by the underground and buses and in the heart of Kensington. I highly recommend this property.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Thank you for taking the time to enter your review. It is so very helpful to others who are searching for a nice place to stay.

I came to stay at this apartment last summer with my husband and two children. It proved the perfect place for us to have a well earned break. It's away from the road and extremely quiet. It also is newly refurbished, so extremely clean and tidy. It feels very luxurious and similar to a hotel. The main living space was large and provided enough space to cook, eat, watch TV and to have 'space' from each other. The apartment is right by the center of town; including Earls Court Tube and all the buses on Cromwell Road, meaning that we could easily access all that London had to offer! I'm so pleased we stayed here and not in a hotel.Recommended for: Families with young children.
Owner response: Thank you so much for your kind words! We also enjoy the location of Russell, it’s tucked back on a quieter street but still so close to Cromwell Road that you can go anywhere you need. We look forward to hearing from you when you come back to London!

“We thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to London. The Russell was definitely the best choice of apartment and location. Being in the heart of the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, the luxury and comfort of the apartment was a combination of luxery and home from home, which gave us a sense of belonging. Due to its proximity to Kensington Palace, my wife felt as if she was Royalty itself, whilst my daily jogs through the grounds and along Kensington Park, made for an attractive amenity that has lifted my spirits. The short distance to all the best art galleries and museums, the great village life of Stratford Road and the early morning stroll up to Kensington High Street and the King’s Rd have ignited a desire to return to London and to live in Russell again. Thank you for all the little touches; they didn’t go un-noticed and we look forward to enjoying Russell and London again.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
