Soufriere is a small fishing village that really makes you feel like you have traveled somewhere exotic. The people are friendly and easy going and you can shop and dine and listen to local music and truly absorb the Saint Lucian flavor.
Then, on another day when you feel like a little pampering, right down the hill you have the Anse Chastanet Hotel. (This beach is approximately one mile down the hill from the villa, ours being the last house on the top of the hill -- thus the privacy!) The Anse Chastanet is a low-key but luxurious hotel with all of the amenities that you could ever want. This includes gourmet dining and a wonderful new spa at the beach. There is also a full service PADI dive center. (You must at least snorkel here! Just a short distance from the beach the underwater sights will amaze you.) In addition, the hotel has a tennis court and kayaks, sunfish and windsurfers for rent. The beach here is so lovely and the atmosphere is very, very relaxing.
With all there is to do, most of our clients, however, rarely leave the villa! The view is perfect - what more could you want than to sit by the side of your own pool and look out over at the amazing blue ocean and the majestic "twin peaks" of Saint Lucia? You really will not want to do much else!
