Our first trip to Costa Rica, Loved it!

We just spent 2 weeks at Lori's Ocean Breeze condo and loved every minute! Playa Hermosa was only a short drive from the Liberia airport which was wonderful after a full day of travel. It's a great town with everything we needed within walking distance: the beach, great restaurants and the local grocery store which had everything we needed. The beach was beautiful,never crowded and very few vendors. We even got to know a few of them by name and they taught us some Spanish! The location was perfect for day trips to Arenal volcano, Tamarindo beach, Palo Verde for a river tour and even an overnight trip to Nicaragua which was awesome. We loved hanging out at the pool at the condo and getting to know some of the residents. The condo was perfect for 2 couples and had everything we needed. We enjoyed grilling the local fish on the patio and cooking our meals in the well appointed kitchen. The furnishings are beautiful and comfortable. Thanks Lori, we'll be back!

What a great place to not only relax, but have a once in a lifetime adventure! Loved the condo - very clean & well equipped and great location near the beach and restaurants but still very quiet. Will definitely tell our friends about it! Went to the Arenal Volcano, Palo Verde River Boat Tour, Playas del Coco, Samara, Panama & Tamarindo and would recommend any of those for day trips. The highlight of our trip was going to Granada Nicaragua for 2 days. We did decide it was best to use a tour guide for most tours! We would definitely go back!

My family stayed here for the 10 days before Christmas and had such a lovely holiday. The condo was immaculate, comfortable and just wonderful. Super close to the shop to get supplies, with really cute restaurants that had great service nearby. The people in Costa Rica and at Ocean Breeze were so helpful and kind, we just had the most fantastic time... We honestly can't wait to get back, and are already looking for vacation time and flights. Awesome place to stay!!!!

Costa Rica, wow, can I put into words my feelings of the this wonderful place, doubt it! I simply love the country and can't wait to go back. I spent a week in this condo in the fall of 2011 and am planning my return trip as I type this. (Hence writing the review now, I still feel great about the unit and am booking it again!) The condo was just as described in the listing and the owner (Lori) was easy to deal with. She has owned the condo for a number of years (6+ maybe) and was very helpful with suggestions on what to do and where to go. The condo complex has three private pools that were practically vacant most days. There was also a security guard on watch 24 hrs a day. Seriously, we greeted him late into the evening every night and he was always awake and "on guard"! The only issue was there wasn't enough time in my trip to do all the things we wanted to do. We spent most of the time on the beaches, eating the local cuisine and fishing. Next trip will be more hiking in the rainforest, volcanoes, and zip-lines! On the last trip, we rented a car in San Jose and drove to Playa Hermosa, next time, I will fly direct into Liberia. Liberia Airport just finished a new remodel and is really nice, plus it is only 20 minutes from the condo. Stay here and you'll being saying "~Pura Vida~" the whole time! LOVED IT!

Colorado couple

This condo was fantastic. I was a bit cautious at first, because it didn't have any reviews yet. The owner Lori got in touch with me immediately and made the process of booking easy and smooth along with the property manager Corby. We really enjoyed the peacefulness, it is quiet. You always feel safe with the security gate. Getting to the beach is simple and quick...just 5 minutes down the road. When you sit on the porch, you can hear the waves coming on to shore. The beach is great for swimming, if you want to surf, Playa Grande is about a 1 hour drive from condo. Would encourage you to get a rental car if staying here. The roads were fine. We never used the FWD. Thanks again Lori and Corby for the wonderful week!

My first vacation out of the States and with two other ladies. This trip is one you will never forget. Yes, beautiful view, walking distance to the beach and wonderful dining on the beach (dinner on the beach at sunset...breathe taking).Shopping, zip line through the jungle, snorkeling,relaxing at the beach aaahhh this is a piece of paradise.My mother, sister in-law and I felt very safe and secure. The locals are so kind. The condo was perfect and owner was so accommodating.I would recommend this property to all my family and friends.

Pura Vida

We brought our 5 grandchildren to Costa Rica for a fantastic trip. There was so much to do in the area and the condo fit us all perfectly. There are so many wonderful restaurants in Hermosa we were pleasantly surprised. We have traveled extensively throughout our lives and have found this condo to be like a home away from home. Very comfortable surroundings with very friendly neighbors. We love the area and the locals are more than welcoming. We did not have any question about the safety of our grandchildren. We would love to recommend this condo to anyone looking for a great condo in a great location!

Jungle Fever

We have only been able to stay for one week periods, but those 3 visits have left my family and I with many beautiful and enjoyable memories. From the beaches to the jungle zip lines to the nature walks, we will always look forward to going back.
