My family, 11 of us, had a fabulous week of vacation fun in Colorado Springs. We rented this property and were all very pleased. It was so spacious and clean with all and more amenities than home. The way the house is set up there is loads of sleeping room and privacy. The house is stocked with grills, big TV's, 2 hot tubs and a sauna/workout room. Kitchen had everything including spices etc. Owner was dependable and returned our phone calls when we had questions prior to the stay. The location is unreal. We loved walking around and visiting with locals in this very upscale part of town. House is exremely private but not so secluded that trips to Costco were long journeys. We had a wedding at The Garden of The Gods and afterwards had a gathering with 20 people of all ages and it was lovely.Every evening we had deer and a red fox come visit us! Would not hesitate to give this VRBO an A+. We are picky especially with the group ages spanning from 8-86 years old!! Have fun and book today!

Perfect Fit

The house was a perfect fit for our 4 family reunion (total of 12 people). We were all together under one roof and yet had separate spaces. The gym was a good arrangement for the kids to be nearby but not under foot. The property was clean, well maintained, with all the amenities promised in the listing and more. We were very comfortable. It all worked out well. I'm glad to give this rental a top rating.

On such short notice, Tom was very accommodating and waited at the home until we arrived. He gave us a tour and let us know that if we had any questions during our stay we could contact him. The GRANDNESS of the home is more than what the description and pictures convey. We were AWESTRUCK by the BEAUTY of the home, the surrounding area, the WILDLIFE (deer, fox) that visited each day and the SPECTACULAR views overlooking Colorado Springs. The house had everything we could ask for and more.We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying in this lovely home!

Lovely Home

This part of our vacation was a highlight of our trip. We were a group of 9 ladies traveling after a tennis match in Arizona. The owner met us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the place as well as taught us how to use the remote controls and the controls to the hot tub and sauna. This eliminated a lot of our anxieties because we're not technologically inclined. The home is spacious and included all the amenities, condiments and comforts of home. The view in the evening was gorgeous, especially from the hot tub. There was enough room for everyone to have their own space. We were greeted in the evening by a fox and some friendly deer. We spent some time enjoying the huge doggie park which is about 4 minutes away. Several attractions such as Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds and Manitou Springs are close by. I would definitely stay here again if I ever visit Colorado Springs and I would definitely encourage others visiting to do the same. Thank you Tom for making our visit to Colorado Springs such a wonderful one.

Great Place!

We had families from three different countries meet at this house and had a great time! The owner went out of his way to make our stay all that we had hoped it would be. The place truly is bigger than it appears in pictures! Besides buying our own groceries for main meals, this place had all we needed. Cooking tools, dishes, towels, laundry essentials, lots of space to acomodate quite a large group. Nicely furnished rooms with big windows and a GREAT VIEW, perfect to just kick back and relax! We especially enjoyed the hot tubs at night with that good view of the city. All in all, it's a perfect place to spend some time with family and/or a group of friends!!! We will definetly go back some time, if we are in that area!

A super fine Stay!!

Me and my work crew who put on bike races were in town putting on a bike race in April. We stayed a whole week and the house was great. it filled our needs perfectly. I have only great things to say about our stay at the SKY HOUSE! I look forward to putting on more races in the Colorado Springs area so that we can stay at the great house again.

Immaculate!!!!

All I can say is one word...Immaculate! Great view, clean and every detail was wonderful! We rented the house for spring break with another family. There was plenty of space for everyone and 2 hot tubs for each master bedroom. The house was way bigger and accommodated us for all our needs. We grilled in the back, cooked dinner in the kitchen all while enjoying the FANTASTIC private area!!! We stayed on the side with its own living/bar area and enjoyed the view from there. The view from the house its self was wonderful! The kids were amazed at night and during the day. When we pulled up there were deer in the front yard (7 deer to be correct). The trails around the house were amazing. I have not ever been to Bear Creek but its really nice to walk or ride your back. We all had a great time.

This place was AWEOMSE!!!!!! I would definatley spend a week there again, we didnt want to leave. The owner was very friendly and gave us a tour of the huge house! We had a family of 12 and it was more than enough room. Everything was very clean and we had our own privacy. The scenery was amazing at night. Looking over the mountain you could see the whole city lights while sitting in the hot tub on the balcony. Not only is there 1 hot tub but 2! Honestly, words dont do justice, as the pictures look amazing on the intenet, the house in person is even better. The sauna in the gym room was nice also, we would get in there and go sit in the hot tub afterwards, and work out anytime we needed. It was a very comfy/homey place to stay. I couldnt believe how big it was. Just wanted to say THANK YOU for letting us stay in such a nice home, our family had a wonderful vacation!

We just completed our stay in this beautiful home - a High School Buddy reunion for five couples. The house has so much room and very clean. We cooked, enjoyed the hot tub and the city views are outstanding. We saw a doe nursing her fawn in the front yard. Lots of hiking trails and close enough to town to enjoy evenings out!! We look forward to another visit. The owner was very nice and his cleaning staff was open to any suggestions.

We had the most amazing time in this most amazing place...everything you needed to make your trip comfortable...plenty of space...exercise equipment...tons of channels on an exceptionally large TV. Close to lots of wonderful natural wonders...including wildlife at our doorstep daily...it was beautiful...clean with friendly cleaning staff at the end of the trip...owner very responsive and friendly. We would recommend this place to anyone.

I wanted to write to you to let you know how WONDERFUL it was to stay at your property! It truly is a LUXURY HOME: Clean, serene and beautifully appointed. Nothing was lacking...The house was spacious enough that we each could enjoy our privacy, and at the same time, everyone felt comfortable in the communal areas that we shared. We took full advantage of the two hot tubs, exercise room and suana not to mention several large screen TVs for viewing the NBA finals!! We enjoyed it. Also, being able to cook in the home and enjoy all the amenities you provided proved to be a very cost-effective approach ... I can't thank you enough!

Graduation 2010

The owner was very nice and accomodating. We stayed there for USAFA graduation in May 2010. There were 16 of us. We never felt like we got under each others feet. The large rooms and spacious layout were perfect. I would recommend this house to any one who is hosting a large crowd. We cooked out several nights on the two grills and ate outside in the back yard where there was 2 picnic tables. It was a great week.

Nice but description not quite accurate

I stayed in this house recently with 17 extended family members, including 6 kids under 10 and 2 teenagers. I might stay there again or recommend it, but only with some significant caveats. You should know that one of the "bedrooms" is actually a loft above the family room with only a shear curtain for a wall. The people trying to sleep in that room hear all the sounds from the first floor kitchen, family, dining and living rooms. Not good for kids at all - and each of our rooms had kids in it. Second, although the air beds are comfortable, the "finished garage" got cold and they don't supply bedding for the airbeds. We had to cobble together spare pillows and blankets, and if one of us hadn't just come from a camping trip, we would have had to go buy sleeping bags. (We had been told bedding was supplied, and when we called they just told us that most people bring sleeping bags.) Third, there is no place to put garbage outside (and lots of wildlife), and after a few days, the food and baby diapers really started to stink in the closet where we were told to leave it. (We also didn't appreciate having to haul the bags up the road before 8 am one morning.) Finally, no exercise equipment as shown in photos, although we didn't care about that. With all those clarifications and reservations, it was a good place to stay. It is a big house with lots of space and a big kitchen - plus two grills and a huge picnic table in the backyard. Extra sturdy bridge tables and chairs so we could all eat at once. Clean and comfortable. There were lots of supplies like laundry detergent and spices so we didn't have to buy everything. If they would wall in the loft, buy some garbage cans, and supply bedding for the airbeds, it would be much better. Great location up on the mountain and so much to do in Colorado Springs. Deer in the front yard a couple of times too! If you know what you're getting, then I would recommend.

Owner response:Wonderful Guest,but let me clear up a couple things. There is plenty of exersize equipment,(see pic) and there are 2 queens in one master bedroom,(see pic). Trash truck comes down to the house,so you can put the trash right in front of the house. There is a closet under a staircase that is 5' x 12' for trash. Renting the place for 12 years and hundreds of famlies,this is the only family that had a trash problem,no one has ever filled the trash room more than half way,but yes,these guest packed the trash room full,and a good part of the gurarge. Only famliy that ever did that,so I don`t see anything I can do about it except see if the trash truck will come daily,but for one famliy in 12 years it probably isn`t necessary. I have a guest book on the display cabnet with pages and pages of rave reviews from happy,happy,guest,so don`t be put off. As far as the other complaints they are clearly adressed on the VRBO page, Tks,Tom (Owner)
