A WOW property.
The 1929 beachfront cottage has been sympathetically renovated with 21st century amenities. A black and white theme throughout enhances the French ambiance of the decor. Original fir floors, custom upholstery, high end appliances all lend to the feel of luxury at the beach. The bathroom has a separate shower and soaker tub....heated concrete floors warm your tootsies..dine front and centre to the beach views....high end linens, Eurotop bed. Hot and cold outdoor shower. The list goes on - if you want it, it's probably there.
Outdoors, enjoy morning coffee on the sunrise chairs. Sip your favourite beverage watching the sun go down on your sunset lounges. On a cool day, cuddle up with our handmade quilts on the verandah watching the seaworld go by.
Summer means sun and warm sandy beaches. You can walk for miles, swim in the warm ocean waters...kayak, fish....search the tide pools for crabs and little fish.... Storm season through the winter is exciting - waves can and do wash right up onto the property and your storm light enables full views. Be warm and dry inside in front of the your gas fireplace or bundle up with handmade quilts(by the owner)on the covered verandah.

This was my second time staying at the cottage. What a wonderful place to relax and enjoy Qualicum Beach and its surroundings. I love every minute I spend at the cottage. Made a day trip to Salt Spring Island this time and loved it. This place does wonders for my soul and heart. Thank you Denise for sharing this little piece of heaven.

What a great cottage to stay at if you are looking to enjoy the beach, watch the wildlife (eagles, seals, herons, birds) and relax. The cottage has everything you are looking for plus more. The town has great shopping, eating, free parking downtown and at the beaches, reasonable driving distances to see the local sites. If you like visiting artisans and galleries this is the place to stay.

We spent a lovely week enjoying the unblemished view of the Straits of Georgia in August, 2010. Although the pictures are accurate, the cottage is even better than illustrated and described. Denise provided a detailed description of things to do, places to see, and stores to visit. This QB cottage is perfect if you need a rest or you want activites every day. We ate every dinner in because the view was too good to leave, and the kitchen was so well equipped and fun to cook in! We highly recommend this lovely getaway.

Qualicum Beach Cottage exceeded all our expectations. It is lovingly and beautifully appointed with complete attention to its guests' comfort. It is even lovelier than the photographs. If you enjoy being lulled to sleep by the waves caressing the shore and want to rejuvenate body, mind and spirit, this little piece of Heaven on Earth is for you (plus the surrounding countryside and various towns and villages are all absolutely breathtaking and offer many outstanding restaurants with friendly locals & artisans all of whom count themselves lucky to live in what many call "Paradise:). Wonderful, wonderful cottage and environment overall. Gold stars on all fronts.

Heaven - it was Heaven. A beautiful cottage, fully appointed, spotless,the best in Decor, sunrises,sunsets and the beach at your door stop. What more could anyone ask for? And did I mention the view - this place is a must!

What an amazing beachfront cottage! The decor is luxurious as well as comfortable. The sandy beach is beautiful; the ocean warm and clean...all tucked away in a quaint little town! Who could ask for anything more?!?
