Located between Magic Sands Beach and Pahoehoe Beach Park, our condo is the perfect location for your Hawaiian vacation. Located on the top floor(third floor) and just 30 feet from the ocean's edge, you have an excellent view of all the activities taking place right out front. The condo has been recently completely repainted and new appliances and granite counter were added to the kitchen. New window screens and coverings complete the clean, modern style. Island furnishings and an upscale mattress and topper for the sofa bed provide a relaxing retreat. All new linens were added July 2012. The entire condo complex was also recently repainted and new carpeting installed in all common areas.
You can body board or hang out at Magic Sands beach or snorkel right in front of the condo. You get the island feel right when you enter the front door. We offer a cute and comfortable place to enjoy your time in paradise.

Stayed here for 11 nights and the place was perfect. Quiet, clean and just the perfect setting for a sunny and warm holiday. Clearly the owners take great pride in their unit here at the Magic Sands. We had a wonderful time during our stay! The unit was immaculate- very clean and nicely furnished. The kitchen was super, everything we needed for fixing quick snacks to complete dinners, it was a pleasure to use. Same for the bathroom, really nicely arranged and finished. We've stayed at other units in the same building and this was by far the nicest, we ended up spending a lot more time just hanging out than we expected since the accommodations were so nice. Highly recommended!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+.

My husband and I stayed in this unit for a week in February and it couldn't have been any better. The unit looks brand new, just like in the pictures only it felt bigger than the pictures portray. The entire wall opens up on to the sea where from our room, we could watch the yellow tangs, parrot fish and sea turtle in the waves beneath us and spinner dolphins and whales further offshore. The sunsets were spectacular as was the rest of the view including Magic Sands Beach next door where the boogie-boarders were riding. The kitchen was VERY well stocked with equipment, almost too much in fact as we couldn't find room to put our groceries. There were boogie boards, beach mats, chairs and towels, and a small cooler for our use on day trips. The bath towels provided were nice but we found our selves wishing that a few more wash cloths and towels would have been provided for a week's stay. Nice furniture included a relaxing recliner that when pulled up next to the open sliders, was like relaxing outside without leaving the room and because the unit was on the top floor, you aren't very visible from down below. We spent a lot of our vacation from this spot in front of the open sliders just enjoying the sun and sound of the surf. The surf can be VERY loud and we were happy that there was air conditioning provided so we could close the slider at night and sleep comfortably. This is the second unit we have stayed at in Kona Magic Sands, both on the top floor (which I would highly recommend) and we loved them both. You just can't beat this location on the waters edge and I think you will find this unit is one of the best offered.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

When Mike and I stay it is just for a couple of days at a time so we don't always see some of the things that longer term guests might see. Looks like I need to do some kitchen re-arranging to make more room for groceries! I will also add another set of bath towels to our supply. Year Purchased: 2007
About the owner: We live on and run a small farm on the Hamakua Coast of Hawaii Island. In 2007 my husband Mike and I decided to purchase our condo at Magic Sands with my sister Terri who lives in Arizona. The Hamakua Coast is a much wetter part of the island so having a home away from home on the dry side of the island was a great idea for us plus it was such a nice location for family to come and visit. We love our cute condo and enjoy spending time there .
Why the Owner Chose Kona Magic Sands:
We decided to buy a condo in Kona Magic Sands because of all the location has to offer. It is well situated with easy access to all that happens in the Kona area. We like being able to just walk just off the property and have access to a very active beach scene .. Anthony's by the Sea, the restaurant on the property site, is one of the places where we enjoyed eating.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Our condo has a great view. Kona Magic Sands is a small and very well maintained complex that has the benefit of a beach right next door and a park on the other side.
