This is a beautiful cabin 2 bedroom, 1.5 baths nestled among pine trees and 1.7 miles to Lake Tahoe. A nearby year-round creek can be heard from the cabin's large relaxing deck. Sitting in the upstairs loft is a great place to relax and view the mountains and the huge pines. In winter, the view is spectacular with snowy peaks and a view of distant ski runs. The best sandy beaches on Lake Tahoe are in Incline Village: Burnt Cedar Beach, Ski Beach and Incline Beach. These private beaches have a boat dock, outdoor pools on the edge of Lake Tahoe, barbecues and eating decks. The famous Sand Harbor Beach, with giant lake boulders, is close by. But why go to the beach when you can barbeque and relax on the cabin's large peaceful and relaxing deck!
Incline Village also has wonderful hiking and biking paths. Incline has two great golf courses just a mile from the cabin. If you are into hiking or cross-country skiing, the Tahoe Rim Trail and the Mt. Rose Meadow is about 10 minutes from the cabin. The best sledding and snow play area around with views of the lake. For gamblers, the Hyatt Casino/Resort is 1 mile down the mountain. If you want to visit Reno, 30 minutes down the mountain on the picturesque Mt. Rose Hwy will get you there.
Tahoe is known for its many ski resorts. Diamond Peak is 5 minutes away, Mt. Rose 10 minutes, Northstar 20 minutes, Squaw Valley 35 minutes. After skiing, there are numerous restaurants that you can enjoy a great meal overlooking Lake Tahoe with surrounding mountains. With the cabin's peaceful and beautiful mountain environment, close to Lake Tahoe and the playground of the Sierras, this cabin is a very enjoyable vacation home base.

Thank you so much for letting our family rent your cabin. We loved the cabin, location, decor, and of course the lake! This is a little dream cabin in the mountains. Our little girls enjoyed it very much. They loved walking along the creek. The surroundings are so pretty and peaceful. Well appointed very cute cabin. We loved our stay. Very clean and comfortable. The only tiny complaint we had was the outdated television and no cable. We were really Looking forward to watching Wimbledon. That was a bummer.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with young children.

This little cabin in adorable. We were all charmed by the place. It was like walking into a home away from home. Everything we needed was there and easy to find. Very comfortable beds, lots of clean towels, ice in the freezer. Love the deck built around a tree. My dad spoke with someone who was staying in a cabin across the way, who said, "Oh, I have stayed there and loved it." Lucky for us we beat her to it this year!! Anyway thank you again, you made our trip hassle free. The wedding went off without a hitch and we had a wonderful time.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

Most importantly, Happy New Year! We had vacationed in Tahoe before and have fallen in love with this place. We usually travel with a group but this time it was just our family.
