  My wife and I came down to the lake for a conference at Tan-Tara. We had the choice of staying at the resort or finding our own place. We chose this condo because of the rate & location. It was right next to the outlet mall so my wife could shop while I went to my seminars. In the evening, we enjoyed watching movies with a fire going in the fireplace. Very comfortable and welcoming condo. My wife was impressed how clean the place was. So, its a great location, very clean, and very comfortable. We would recommend it to everyone. - Jim

  This condo is darling. It has a sailboat & water theme and just feels like you are in a beach-house or cabin on a lake. My girlfriends and I came on another shopping trip. We love how close this condo is to the Outlet Mall. Plus, the rates are reasonable for what you get. It was a chilly weekend, so we made a fire in the evenings and hung out in the family room. The condo itself is updated with new appliances, bathrooms, carpet and the tvs appear to be new. Two tvs have HD and they are both internet ready. After logging in, I did my facebook on the family room tv! Neat. Despite the cold, we still made bbq on back patio. There is a nice gas grill. We are going to book this place for July this year, hopefully over the 4th holiday (if not reserved). And we plan to stay again next shopping season.

  My husband and I could not believe it!! We had booked a long weekend at the lake staying at this condo. We were suppose to arrive on a Thursday late afternoon. We were traveling from Iowa. But, while in route we were involved in a car accident on the highway! Thankfully, our children were not hurt, but my husband hurt his neck by flinching as the truck swiped his side of our car. Our car quite banged up, and we did not want to risk it. We went home to get our other car. We lost half the day, but still decided to go on our vacation. I had called the condo owners and let them know what happened and that we were delayed but still coming. We did not get to the condo until 2am. Our kids were exhausted. The condo owners left us breakfast for the morning! How thoughtful they were! We thought they must have been staying at the condo that week. There was a note left on the large basket of fruit, oatmeal,cereal, and donuts (with milk & juice in frig) saying 'although your vacation may have started of wrong, here is something to help your first morning'. They had said later in the weekend that they instructed their cleaning maid to do the basket. NERY NICE of the them and we had a terrific rest of our vacation. The condo was very clean, very nice, and we will for sure recommend to everyone. And, we will come back and stay here again next summer (when its warmer to do lake activities).

  My husband and I were looking for a place to spend our anniversary at. I located this condo on vrbo. From the beginning, the owners who I dealt with were such nice, friendly people. It was like we had known them for years. Everything went smooth from time I booked until the day we checked out. The condo itself, was beautiful. The carpets were newer and very clean. The entire place was very clean including the toilets and showers. We had stayed in another condo in Compass Pointe, but it was NOTHING like this one. It was old, out dated, and had appliances that looked like they were made in the '80s. But, NOT THIS PLACE! This condo was updated with new appliances, carpets, sinks, shower and vanities. New tile floors as well. The view of the lake was great! You can see a slice of the main channel and the cove the condo sits in. We are coming back next summer and cannot wait to use the pool and docks. The back patio was pleasant and had a nice, new BBQ pit. We grilled out and ate dinner on the patio with a nice breeze and view of the lake. If you you want a nice place that is very affordable, go with this condo. We know that we would stay here again for sure! As a matter of fact they said if re-book with them next summer, they would give us a discount for being repeat guests. We are grateful that the owners took the time to get to know us and make sure we had a terrifc time at their condo.

  I organized a girls trip to the lake. We stayed at this condo and enjoyed every minute of it! You should GO GO GO ! Its so close to the outlet mall, we could practically walk there. The condo was comfortable. It looked like it had been remodeled. The appliances were nice and new. The bathrooms were very nice and entire condo SPOTLESS CLEAN! We liked how they had a roll away cot. This cot was like an actual bed with a single mattress on it. Nothing like a pull-out couch, it was so comfortable!! I ended up slepping on it. The tv was new and had internet on it. I could use my Netflix membership to rent movies right there on their HD TV. And, we all had internet on our ipads so the wifi was included. The place was decorated nice with a sail-boat/nautical theme. The rate was low for such a nice place. Beds comfortable and couches cozy. We would highly recommend this place to everyone. We had a fantastic weekend and spent too much at the mall!

• NO HOT WATER!

  The unit itself is nice, but the hot water heater was problematic. We only had hot showers the first morning that we stayed. We arrived on a Thursday and showered Friday morning, but that was the last of the hot water. There was a note from the oweners from June 2012 saying it needed repairs and to take short showers. When we called the owners for help he provided none!!! He said we could leave and wouldn't be charged for the last day if we were not there. We had still already gone an entire day without hot water. He told us he would get it looked at in 2 days when we would be gone. He was rude and questioned our honesty about it. There was no internet and the dryer was broken as well. There was outside work being done and we could not use the designated parking. What a joke!! Owners were rude and helpless. They are clueless and cannot be bothered with 'complaints'. We found a local HVAC neighbor at the complex who was kind enough to come do a temporary fix so that we could shower. Now the owners are not going to even reinburse us for the one night. I would not recommend this unit to my worst enemy. Poor service, false advertising, and rude people looking to take your money. "Sorry, there is nothing we can do" is simply not good enough to make up for no hot water and the damper put on our girls weekend. Then to question our integrity.....Wow. I will NEVER go back to this unit and will make sure that as many people as possible know it was a nightmare for us. I can't wait to contact the BBB as well. Pick another condo and avoid the headache!

  Owner response: First of all my wife Kim and I pride ourselves on making your stay at our condominium, the best it can be. We make sure that every guest is satisfied in all ways. We have a guest track record of 100% who are completely satisfied. Upon request, we can provide you a long list of our guests for the past 8 years who can verify this. In Stephanie’s own words she says: “There was a note from the owners from June 2012 saying it needed repairs and to take short showers.” The fact is, we did indeed have water heater inspected in July of 2012 and the tests verified no problems. The hot water heater was working perfectly and still does today. We had it inspected again after she left, it works totally fine. OUR mistake was that I failed to delete that note in our guest instructional book. It was written as courtesy, after a party of 8 stayed at our condo. Stephanie read the note, and called us on her last day. She said: “we are paying to stay here and we should be able to take as long of hot showers as we want! We have four ladies with long hair who take long showers!” and more... “Your note says that we should take short showers? Why didn’t you get it fixed back in June? We want a refund for our stay!" I told her nicely that every hot water heater has its limits and why I wrote that note. I recommended that they space out their showers giving time to replenish. Stephanie didn’t like my response. She complained more about parking, internet, dryer. We didn’t know about parking, the internet works fine, there is new dryer. We are puzzled??? A ‘pattern' exists with Stephanie. We also read in her ‘review’ that: “We found a local HVAC neighbor at the complex who was kind enough to come do a temporary fix so that we could shower.” First, plumbers repair hot water heaters, not usually HVAC-(Heating-Ventilation-Air-Conditioning. We have not heard from any neighbors either. After staying two days & nights at our condo with no complaints, with less than a day left, Stephanie noticed my note about the hot water and decided to ‘compensate’ on it. It is sad that a person would stoop to this level of scamming. And then write a mean-dishonest review against us? It is disheartening that we even have to respond to her review. We apologize you have to read it. We welcome you to take as long of a hot water as you want as our guests, but the hot water will eventually run out. Then, you will need to wait a short while, but it WILL replenish :-) -Matt/Kim October 2012

  We stayed at this condo for an event at Lake Ozark and really enjoyed our stay there. It was clean, neat, easy to find, beautifully decorated, nice carpeting, and conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, gas stations, and the main highway. The beds were very comfortable and it was in a good, quiet location. There is a pool on the property, but as it was closed for the fall season, we didn't have an opportunity to use it. Very roomy bedrooms (2) and comfortable couches in the living room, and very clean bathrooms (2). Loved having the cable TV's in the bedrooms and living room as well. I would highly recommend staying here!!

  My husband and kids had a terrific time! We have stayed at this condo several times. We would highly recommend anyone rent this place. Condo h2 is extremely cozy and comfortable. It always feels like our own home...just warm and welcoming. This condo was updated from top to bottom. Very nice kitchen...all new appliances. Kids love pool and we keep boat at lower docks. It all works out wonderfully. In addition, we can't beat the cost to rent this condo
