Enjoy the serenity of a northern Wisconsin vacation in this completely renovated 3-bedroom cabin that features knotty pine paneling throughout and all the amenities of a luxury cabin. The cabin is situated on 1 1/2 wooded acres and located on a secluded bay on 1300-acre Lost Land Lake, Northern Wisconsin's premier quiet (no-wake) lake. Lost Land Lake is a Class A Muskie lake which also offers excellent fishing for largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, walleyes, crappies, and northern pike.
The newly constructed 23' X 16' deck is equipped with Adirondack chairs, a picnic table and a charcoal grill. We have over 200 feet of private shorefront with a sandy shoreline. Included with the rental is a 14' aluminum fishing boat. Additional benefits are linked to Reel Livin' Resort, which is located across the bay. And don't be surprised if you see loons, eagles, wild turkeys and deer as you stroll along the secluded road leading into the cabin.

We'd decided to get away at the last moment, the week before July 4th 2011. With two dogs and an upcoming Holiday, we were having a difficult time finding an available place. When we found this Cabin we were intrigued, since we love to be on a lake, fishing as often as we can. The pictures do not capture the true inviting comfort of this Cabin. Having been remodeled, it smells of fresh wood when you enter and we immediately felt relaxed. A fishing boat was waiting for us, we only needed to rent the motor from the Reel Livin Resort (same owner). The property was very clean and well kept, which was an asset after a tiring road trip.We'd spent many hours relaxing on the huge deck after a day on the lake. The Mother Fox and her baby came to sit on the deck daily and are regular visitors in the area. They are not threatening and the dogs grew to accept their presence. The breeze off the lake made for many comfortable days/nights whether inside or sitting on the deck. Early morning walks provided many deer sightings and the most fulfilling North Woods experience. The Cabin is secluded from the resort so there was plenty of privacy, as we'd been promised. There is a small Bar at the Resort which serves pizza, burgers, appetizers-very quaint and friendly. Orlin and Holly are your Hosts and are the most pleasant, interesting, dog loving people! They made our stay all the more special. Most of our meals were at the Cabin, however, our last night of vacation we'd dined at the Lumberjack Steak House/Lodge in Hayward. We would highly recommend this restaurant for their excellent Fish Fry/Soup/Steak and wonderful Owner (Peggy) and Staff. We will never forget our stay at this Cabin and will often reflect upon our memories fondly. Thank you to the Johnson Family for your hospitality and a pleasantly relaxing Vacation!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.
