  The property was clean, owner was very friendly and helpful. Good communicator. Responds quickly. The house was dated, although clean, the hot tub did not work, had no place to tie up my boad as OLD boats were ih the only available slips. I tied up to the (only) side where kleets were installed on floating dock, but one of the dock floaters jetted out a foot or more , hitting the side of the boat. Could not tie upanywhere else, as had no kleets. House very musty, had air purifiers running on both levels. This is a great house for the money if you are seeking a rental house needing to house a lot of people. Great location, right across from Duncan Bridge Marina.

  Owner response: The hot tub is not rented on vrbo. Bad storms just before the check in caused the floater to jett out. One boat slip was empty. did not know if renter had a boat or not, or the size.Air purifiers run all time for circulation, did not smell musty to cleaners, All new kitchen appliances in both kitchens.   Our stay at your home was great! It had everything that we could think of. The boat rental was excellent. We had plenty of room. We had 4 families with children and everyone had plenty of room. Thanks for letting us stay at your home!

  We had a wonderful time!!! Location is perfect. The owner was so helpful. He shared not only his home but rafts etc. We were able to watch the 4th of July fireworks from the lower deck and boathouse. Lived up to all our expectations.

  our stay was wonderful. The house was just perfect for our group of twelve, we all had plenty of room. The view from the sunrooms was beautiful, you could see the sun setting from here. We were able to meet the owner of the house, he was in town and he came by to visit and check on us. The owner of the house was very accommodating and was there if we needed anything. We would highly recommend this property , it was clean and well maintained. The photos were accurate and the house was just like our home for the week. The house was located just a few miles from a marina , which had a very nice boat launch.

  The house had so much room! The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The lot was well shaded with trees. Air conditioning in house was excellent. Walking to boat house was easy and there was a nice place to paddle around in the water. Our family had a wonderful time. The only thing that I would improve is the mattress in the master bedroom. We did our own cooking and washing at the house. I would certainly recommend it.

  Great place to stay for family with pets on gorgeous Smith Lake. The house has everything a family needs for a comfortable stay. Location is great, with easy access to marina and Jasper. Boat is outstanding. Owner is very easy to work with and very attentive.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children.

  Property was fantastic! Large home with all the creature comforts of home provided. Great waterfront views and fantastic swim pier with boathouse. The use of Wayne's deckboat made this trip! Working with Wayne was super and he was very accommodating. We will definitely be back!!!

  We are all in our 60,s and enjoyed the serenity and beauty of your family lake house.We loved the screened in porch an all of us being able to gather in one place. May God bless you all.
