I had always wanted to vacation on Dafuskie. Found this location and pulled the tirgger. September 2008, my hubby, sister, brother-in-law, brother, sister-in-law and I met up in Hilton Head for the boat ride over on a Monday afternoon. A hurricane had brushed the coast line the Friday before with little to no damage to area. We had the most wonderful stay. You talk about secluded....yes it is. We had a large golf cart to tootle around. The sights and adventures were priceless. The Atlantic beach is not my favorite, but this was just perfect. We even caught a glimpse of an Eagle and it's nest very close by. Also, caught an awsome metor shower. With the zero light polution on the island, viewing from the Penthouse balcony was like non other. Thanks for sharing your piece of heaven. We hope to be back again.
