Crested Butte began as a silver camp but soon turned into one of the great coal towns of the West, with a rich ethnic heritage evolved from the mining camps. In the 21st century.

Our comfortable home is ideal for your family vacation. It sits tucked away in a quiet development that is seconds away from Nordic skiing, outstanding mountain biking, and hiking trails.
On the main level rests the master bed and bath rooms. The master has a comfortable king bed, flat screen TV with theater sound, and a 5 piece bathroom. There is also a second bedroom with a queen bed and it's own full bathroom.
Also on the main level, you are surrounded by windows and have an opportunity to relax while looking at breathtaking views of mountains in all directions. The main level has a gourmet kitchen with granite countertops and stainless appliances. The kitchen flows into an eating/gathering bar, dining, and living room.
The upper level, with vaulted ceilings, has three bedrooms, one that has full size bunk beds, a second with a queen size bed and a third bedroom that has a twin with an additional twin trundle bed. Along with 2 full size bathrooms
Hardwood, tile and carpeted floors that have in floor heating, the house stays toasty on the coldest of nights.
Outside, there is a huge deck and multiple spots for off street parking.

Rented this house and had such a great time with my family there. The bedrooms were nice and comfortable. The kitchen was big and had all that i needed to cook with. Fabulous home with great kitchen for cooking. Beautiful view of the mountains with wonderful hiking and mountain biking right out the front door. Thank you Scott for giving us excellent information on horseback riding, bike rentals, hiking trails and restaurants. We had family in town for the Christmas holiday and spent it in this wonderful house. The house fit our three families with plenty of room for everyone. Scott was easy to work with and very helpful. He had a Christmas tree all up and ready for us. 10 of us wanted to get a way from Denver for NYE and this was the perfect place. the location was just 5-10 mins out of town and beautiful. the kitchen is stocked and perfect for you if you like to cook. we were a group of foodies and didn't need for anything. the rooms are broken up and lend to a great retreat from the group if needed. we've already begun talking about returning in the spring or summer.Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway.

We have stayed at this house twice and both times were incredible. The first time was this last March for a family ski trip. There were 10 in our group and plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen area is great for cooking big meals and hanging out with everyone. The views are breathtaking, windows all the way around. Scott was great. He went out of his way to get our family discounted ski passes and saved us a considerable amount of money (thanks again!) Riding the bus to the resort is a cinch! The use of the base side ski locker was a nice touch as well, especially with kids, store your gear and get all suited up for a day of hassle free skiing. Our most recent stay was last August. The mountain biking was fabulous, wildflowers as far as the eye could see! Bottom line, the accommodations are great for families and groups. It's well maintained and Scott responds quickly to any needs. We have consistently gotten what we would expect for the price and look forward to returning.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

I contacted a lot of properties in Crested Butte before booking with Scott. I was highly impressed and would definitely stay there again. He was very responsive and informative via email and phone. The house was in excellent condition and fully stocked with towels, paper products, and even some food items like condiments and spices. There were 3 couples and 6 kids, so we fit perfectly in the bedroom layout. In every direction you are surrounded by beautiful mountain views, the back deck is huge and great to just sit and relax on. The close and easy access to different hiking and mountain biking trails was awesome! Our family of 4 truly enjoyed our stay at this home. We hosted dinner for as many as 9 with plenty of space for all. Wifi allowed everyone to stay connected and the home has lots of toys/games for the little ones. Location is close to town and easily accessible via walking/biking path or a very short drive. You can hike/bike to the Brush Creek trails from the front door. Communication with owners was always helpful and timely. We are frequent Crested Butte visitors, normally staying in the downotwn area, but we decided to try something different and it turned out to be a wonderful diversion! The house is located near enough to town for easy access via car or bike. Its beauty is that it is located on the backside of Crested Butte mountain. We were lucky enough to be there during wildflower season and the nearby slopes were blanketed with yellow, purple, and red flowers. You can hike and bike right out the front door. The house offered a 180 degree down valley view and an incredible porch to watch the stars at night. The furnishings and appointments were top notch. Great for our family and small dog to enjoy a long weekend in the summer.
