Enjoy fabulous views of the Santa Rita mountains with your breakfast, lunch and dinner in our 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom home - all surrounded by a Mexican style wall enclosing grapefruit, pomegranate and lemon trees.
Our territorial style home is 1160 sq ft and features many upgrades. The kitchen is fully equipped with a new fridge, gas cook top, electric oven and convection microwave as well as a dishwasher and small appliances, including a blender to make your margaritas! The dining room seats 6 and living room entertainment options include cable TV, DVD and stereo. Our house features new granite counter tops in the kitchen and master bath and new tile throughout except in the bedrooms, which are carpeted.
In addition, there are front and back patios and a covered dining patio with a gas BBQ, storage shed (with washer and dryer) and attached carport. The outdoor dining area, kitchen and master bedroom all face the Santa Rita mountains, offering views of spectacular desert evening sunsets.
Our house is located in the La Canada Desert Homes development, situated along the I-19 highway that runs between Tucson, AZ and Nogales, Mexico. Located in the heart of Green Valley, La Canada Desert Homes is quite unique due to its preservation of nature. The houses are built on circular lots in the midst of an historic mesquite bosque (woodland) and offers a variety of birds and other wildlife. Yet, you are just walking distance from two shopping malls offering full banking services, restaurants, medical services and a Safeway grocery store with Starbucks.
We are members of the Green Valley Recreation Inc. (GVR) which has 12 recreation centers in the community that offer tennis courts, swimming and hot tubs, fitness centers and yoga instruction, billiards, shuffleboard and various arts and crafts classes. For a nominal fee, the GVR permits our guests to take advantage of our GVR membership. A GVR center with a swimming pool and hot tub and tennis courts is located two blocks from our house.
With 7 golf courses in and around the community, Green Valley is well known for golfing. Most of the golf courses are public courses. In southeastern Arizona where Green Valley is located, numerous historic sites and tourist spots such as Tombstone, Old Tucson, Madeira Canyon, the Tubac artisan village and the Sanoita wine region are all within a easy drive.
