I can not say enough about my experience at Tres Mujeres! My room was excellent: clean and beautifully appointed with a wonderful ocean view, air conditioned (did not need it; fan was enough) with high ceilings, very comfortable beds with quality linens and pillows, open air bathroom filled with tropical plants and beautiful fixtures (and plenty of hot water). The property was beautifully maintained with a lush landscape that complemented the overall appearance of the complex. It was a treat to lay in the sun and watch the birds and butterflies that frequented the tropical blossoms blooming everywhere. The pool is a great feature! It was clean & well maintained and looked right out on the ocean. I enjoy cooking while on vacation and took great pleasure in the access to the well stocked community kitchen (we cooked fresh lobster, fresh fish as well as shrimp all available from local vendors... not to mention the amazing fruits that we bought right from the truck in front of the hotel). With that being said, Tres Mejeres has an ideal location in Troncones as everything is just a short walk away so it was also easy to walk to the local restaurants and cultural attractions. This complex is not huge and this is one of its best features as it gives a real feeling of exclusiveness. For me, having rented many villas on Troncones Beach, the best part about Tres Mujeres was the management. They were attentive without being fussy, ensuring my comfort and helping me have the best experience possible (answered questions, helped with travel issues, gracious and very friendly). If you are visiting Troncones I highly recommend Tres Mujeres for a prime location, excellent rooms and one of the best pools for whale watching as well as relaxing in the tropical sun!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.
