  We feel that this magnificant property is situated perfectly for a Florida vacation. LOCATION in the middle of the Florida Keys offers unlimited opportunities for day trips to neighboring Keys, north or south, and Key West. LOCATION on a virtually private white sand beach edged by palm trees is unmatched by few condominium properties in the Keys. LOCATION on the third floor, with a wrap-around oceanfront balcony lends itself to endless hours of relaxation while watching the changing colors of the ocean and passing boat traffic. We have vacationed at this unit many times over years and always look forward to the special ambiance of the property with its two swimming pools, lush landscaping with tropical flowers and plants and amazing ocean views. On a practical note, the elevator, washer and dryer and other amenities in the unit make for a comfortable stay. We highly recommend this property!

• Paradise!!!

  Our family has vacationed here many times. The condo is perfect! The master bedroom overlooks the ocean and it is wonderful to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves. The spacious balcony extends from the living room to the master bedroom. We love to sit there and read, eat our meals and watch the boats as they pass by. The atmosphere at the Monte Christo is wonderful. The beach is beautiful and both of the pools are great. Our favorite is the one that overlooks the ocean. My husband and I honeymooned here years ago in August, where we practically had the pools and beach to ourselves. Since then, we have vacationed with our children several times. It was a perfect spot when our children were young, as we could enjoy both the beach and the pool. As our children got older, our family enjoyed snorkeling around the jetty, where we saw many colorful, tropical fish. We also enjoyed deep sea fishing and a snorkel trip out to Sombrero Reef. We enjoyed eating at all of the local restaurants. Our favorites are Key Colony Inn, The Island and Herbies, just to name a few! During our visits we always visit the Dolphin Research Center and walk on the Seven Mile Bridge. We love to go to Key West, where we visit the Aquarium, pirate museums and Mallory Square. We make our traditional stop at the Margaritaville Cafe where we all enjoy a Cheeseburger in Paradise! Each day is complete when we watch the deep-sea fishing boat "The Marathon Lady" come home each night with all its lights on, as we stand on the balcony.

  I have stayed in this unit several times over the years and this location remains my very favorite. After living in Florida 22 years and vacationing at beaches from Pensacola to the Keys, Key Colony Beach is absolutely number one. This unit is clean, well appointed and incredibly peaceful with a view that will take your breath away. I have already recommended this property to family & friends. We will return to this unit soon and often. Don't miss the Dolphin research facility just down the road as well as the other suggestions listed by the owners. All great options for folks of all ages and interests.

  If you seek tropical bliss then look no further. This place is perfect. The balcony and panoramic-type view are unforgettable. I spent much time on the balcony, sipping a beverage and daydreaming. There is no better place on earth for this pursuit! The apartment itself is beautiful and the master bedroom is so amazing I had a hard time falling asleep when I got home without the primordial sound of the ocean to lull me off. There are two pools and the small one is right on the beach! It's a perfect place to lounge with a book and a cold drink. There are palm trees and usually a tropical breeze. You can walk to a deli and three other great places to eat. There is some of the best seafood in the Keys only a short hop away and you are exactly half-way to Key West near Seven-Mile Bridge. It is the perfect geographic location to enjoy everything the Keys has to offer within a short car ride. I often think out our two weeks there and I am already planning our next two.
