My husband and I stayed at Dream Villa for a week. We found it to be a lovely home - just as advertised. We look forward to another trip to Cape Coral in the future and would be pleased to stay here again.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway.
Owner response: I try to provide everything a renter would need to be happy and it shows. Dream Villa is excellent for families or couples as it is accessible to shopping, banking, restaurants, activities, hospitals, beaches and more.

We stayed here for spring break with our daughter and her family for the grand kids spring break. The house was very nice. We cooked iin several times and there was not an item we needed that wasn't there. Pots, pans, platters, wine openers, glasses, knives, everything. The sliding glass doors (3) that opened all the way out of the way made the living area into the pool just one very cool open area. The house was close to everything by car, although the canal is a ways from any gulf boat activities (no wake zones mostly). The neighbors we very friendly and all in all we would stay there again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: We try our hardest to please all of our guests as they are very important to us. We have made Dream Villa extremely comfortable in every way possible.

Wife and I stayed here Dec-March 2013. If you're stuck up north you need to get down here now. Why? So you can actually feel the weather instead of closing up your house for 5 months. It was everything we hoped for. Top drawer furnishings inside. The kitchen was my favorite since I do all the cooking. Everything you could want. Super sharp knives, excellent dishes and flatware. Eat at your choice of three tables. Our favorite was outside, next to the pool overlooking the water. Master bedroom was spacious and comfortable. No problem falling asleep on that mattress. Plenty of storage space for all your clothes and a huge closet in the master. Shower was great and roomy. When you walk in the front door, look to the right and see an entire entertainment unit on the wall. Huge TV. To the left, is the kitchen so the cook can watch TV. Look straight ahead past the sliding glass doors to the pool and a little further to the water. Quiet and peaceful. Fishing was great. Cravelle jacks, blue crabs, channel cats and anything else that swims in from the ocean. Weather was wonderful. Only used the AC on two particularly humid days. After dinner, just sit out on the lanai and enjoy the peace and quiet and think about where you aren't. Florida living is open air and light coming in from everywhere. The greatest thing about the house however, is the owners, Laurie and Kevin Eisner. Any questions, they were there to help us. You won't find nicer people. Great restaurants, great shopping (we love Bealls & took advantage of the super sales they have, but there are a several stores that the wife found that were only in Fort Meyers), great weather. Try all the restaurants and stay away from the chains (we had some great local food in small neighborhood places and everyone has coupons). You can visit the chains when you get back home. They have everything for adults and beaches and entertainment for kids. Go out to Matlacha and Pine Island. Take a boat cruise for a day. There's something for everyone in Florida. First rate hospital two blocks away and doctors for every known ailment. Mirrors all over the place. Plenty of closets. The Red Sox and Twins have spring training here in March. This is the fishing capital of the world. Charter a boat or you can fish right off the dock. Ya gotta try Red's on Pine Island and Marker 92 at Tarpon Bay. Great food at each. Red's for the family, Marker 92 for "special" occasions. Wonderful accomodations for one and all.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Dream Villa is a wonderful place to spend time for any occasion. Dream Villa is affordable and offers many luxuries for your convenience. All of my renters are always sad to leave.

This was our first visit to Cape Coral but we are already looking to come back. This is a well maintained home in a nice neighborhood. Everything was just as the listing described it. The owner, Laurie, was very helpful. Our 2 boys ages 9 and 12 were catching fish at the dock or swimming in the heated and screened in pool in their free time. We brought our 22 FT pontoon boat and docked it at the property so we could go fishing every day. We caught some real nice Sea Trout. The home is very spacious with large bedrooms and baths. It was built to live in not built cheaply like other rentals often are. We liked the all tile interior because it is perfect for Florida's hot weather and nice for pet owners. The location is great. The canal is interesting to watch and essential for boaters. We really wish we had the time to spend the month versus a couple of weeks. We would recommend the property and the owners to our friends.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners.
Owner response: As my renter mentioned, he docked his boat at the property and enjoyed fishing and swimming every day with his family. Also, Dream Villa is a really beautiful place to stay and is at a great location for visiting all that Cape Coral has to offer.

We recently spent two months at this Cape Coral Home and everything was as advertised. In fact it was much larger than we thought, sometimes it is hard to tell from pictures and we were very happy when we walked in the door. It is an ideal home for sharing with another couple as bedrooms are separated across the living room so it gives you more privacy. We loved the pool and lanai area and we basically lived outdoors for most of our stay. The owners were very good about getting back to you with any questions or concerns. It is a quiet area, I would recommend this property to friends or family.Owner response: I try to provide everything that my renters will need to thoroughly enjoy their stay at Dream Villa.

Dream Villa is a very comfortable, spacious house with all ammenities, close by to stores, theater, church, yet is on a quiet street with pleasant neighbors. I stayed 2 months and always felt safe. The house is very easy to clean. The use of a computer was great, the TV is large and new, beds very comfy. The owner has missed nothing in the way of kitchen utensils, pool accessories and the like. I would definitely return.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners.
Owner response: I try to make my guests as comfortable as possible. I want everyone to thoroughly enjoy all that Dream Villa has to offer.

The house is lovely and totally well-equipped in every way. The pictures on the website were accurate in the description of the house, which was spacious and also of the lanai. The location is quiet but yet easily accessible to shopping and to the highway bridges to Fort Myers. Would recommend Crazy Fish restaurant and also the Cape Harbour complex. Rumrunners restaurant was a particular favourite.Owner response: When my renters are happy, I am happy. Cape Coral is a wonderfully happy place to visit or to live. There is so much to see and do and the weather is always cooperative. There are lots of activities for both older folks and younger couples with families.

This home is very open and spacious, the location is very convenient to shopping and eateries. It was very well maintained and the kitchen would satisfy anyone that likes to cook as it was very well appointed. We were there for a month and felt very comfortable as it had all the conveniences of home, everything like new. Upon arrival Laurie was in touch with us to make sure all was as expected and was just a phone call away if we needed anything. We were very excited to get to see a Manatee and her baby right off the seawall along with a couple of gorgeous sunsets. We will definitely keep this home in mind if we return to Cape Coral!!Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners.
Owner response: I really love the wildlife that visit Cape Coral. The sunsets are breathtaking.

I loved this spacious home and the beautiful pool. The back yard is fenced in for privacy. The large modern kitchen has lots of gadgets needed for cooking or baking. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. The house had eveything that I needed during my stay including AC, board games, DVDs and pool floats. The swingset was great for viewing the sunsets. The house was also very convenient to shopping. I can't wait to return.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 6/6

Owner info

About the owner: My husband and I wanted property on a canal and we fell in love with Cape Coral. We love to be outdoors and on the water but we are also getting tired of the long cold winters.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes, Southeast:
My husband and I love the weather, the ocean and the laid back lifestyle of Florida. Cape Coral has it all with the canals, the Caloosahatchee River, the Gulf Coast and Sanibel Island. Having grown up near water most of our lives but enjoying warm winter temperatures has made this our Dream Villa.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our home is right on the water and a short drive to some beautiful beaches. If you like collecting shells, Sanibel Island is a short drive.
