We enjoyed our time in this 2 bedroom Palm Desert condo. The owner was very helpful and answered all my questions and concerns immediately. The Kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need for all your meals. The BBQ was perfect to have for those lovely warm evenings. All the other rooms were very tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The views from the Kitchen, Living Room and patio were fantastic. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio listening to the birds, watching the golfers and having the ducks come to visit you. My only complaint would be the lack of Window Treatments in the Living Room and Kitchen. I understand putting up blinds would hinder the views but in the evening it is nice to have a some blinds to draw. My other complaint although it is not the owners fault is the neighbours air conditioner, when on it is very noisy. Luckily there weren't people there for the full time we were there. All in All I am ready to head back to this unit right now. Very nice and quiet, a peaceful holiday. Thanks so much David and KathleenRecommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing.

From the minute you enter Jeff's rental unit you know you have arrived somewhere special. From the tasteful interior decoration to the thoughtful accessories left for the use of renters, it is easy to tell that Jeff pays attention to details. The kitchen is well appointed with quality cookware and small appliances, while the living room has shelves of interesting books to read. Other welcome surprises include a number of family friendly DVDs and Blu-Ray discs to watch. There seems to be some ongoing discussion about how large the garage is in this unit. I was able to park my full size Chev Impala without difficulty, although I did rely on guidance from my wife to ensure I didn't hit Jeff's storage box in the garage. The unit was spotless upon our arrival and Jeff was only a phone call or email away if we had a question. We have stayed at The Resorter many times and this is the best kept, most comfortable unit we have stayed in. We look forward to our return to Palm Desert and these wonderful accommodations.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Seriously, ditto about all the compliments heaped upon Jeff, the owner, and the condo. The compliments are well-deserved! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars: The one thing that future renters may wish to inquire about is the lack of window coverings in the dining room, the primary sliding glass door to the patio and thus the entire golf course, and the kitchen door - thus looking directly into the neighbors windows. Forturnately, they kept their window coverings closed. Anyone walking by (and there are gardeners, dog walkers, golfers) at all hours of the day and night, can see directly into your kitchen andthe ENTIRE living room. Personally, I was distressed by the lack of privacy. Other things to ask: have all the batteries on all the sensors, Verizon equipment, and the like been recently replaced. Yes, they went off in the middle of the night. The garage is not usable for a car. All this being said, we love the location, the immediate response from Jeff, and the little caring touches, such as he made sure the outdoor lights would be on for my after dinner arrival (I was alone for part of the vacation). That was very sweet. Will we stay again? Yes with the caveat of window coverings so I don't need to go to the bedroom to watch TV for privacy. And only if my husband is with me the entire time.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing.

After flying across country, this condo was so inviting and my husband and I felt at home immediately. I rate a hotel or rental place by the beds. I must have a good bed or nothing works and this condo has wonderful beds. This unit has all of the amenities you need for a great stay; everything was in working order and well cared for by the owner. It met all of our expectations and we will use it again when we are in the area. My husband and I highly recommend this condo. We were owners in the area for fifteen years or more before moving out of California and we know a good location and this is a great one.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This was our first time renting through VRBO and we were very pleased with our experience. The condo was exactly as it looked in the pictures and it was so comfortable. The pool was a few steps across the street and every morning we could sit out on the patio with our breakfast and coffee and watch the golfers go by. It was very quiet and relaxing and we would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in this area!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This is a great place to stay. The furnishings are very, very nice; the beds are super comfortable and it reminds you of an upscale hotel. Kitchen is well stocked. The patio and view are extremely relaxing and the area is covered, helps keep you out of the sun. Also, the pool is close by and there are plenty of lounges available. The owner has made sure that you have a wonderful time!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This unit was everything that was promised and MORE !!!! There wasn't a thing we needed that we didn't find there. We couldn't have been anymore comfortable. The condo was very tastefully decorated (not to mention VERY clean), the beds comfortable, and the view from the patio was unbeatable. The location was great. Jeff gives 110% to ensure you are comfortable during your stay at his home - it is important to him you have whatever you need. It was a pleasure to deal with him. If and when I return to the desert and need a place to stay - Jeff will be my first phone call. You can't go wrong in this unit !!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2010
About the owner: I purchased this unit in August of 2010 and have really enjoyed updating it with new paint, furniture, carpet, flat-screen HDTV, Wi-fi internet access, Blu-ray DVD player, and more. I think you will enjoy it as much as I do. My guests have come from as close as Los Angeles and San Diego, and from as far away as Washington, New York, Canada and Sweden. It has been fun getting to know them and rewarding to have them as returning guests and greatly appreciate their reviews of my property.
Why the Owner Chose Palm Desert Resort:
The location of the unit is what sold me on the property. Located on what was the Resort's original Model Home Row, you can't find a better location in the Resort to enjoy a few days of golf, tennis, or just relaxing.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
My unit has extended views across both the 9th and 18th fairways, giving one a great sense of privacy to the location. No better location exits in the Resort to enjoy your morning coffee or an adult beverage as you watch the sun set against the mountains in the evening.
