  We had a great time at Flip Flops at Garden City Beach. It is a gorgeous and spacious house - perfect for a family with a lot of teen agers who needed space to spread out. It is well organized so the kitchen, great room and dining room are all connected for board games, watching sports, and cooking. The Kitchen has everything you might ever need. The bedrooms and beds were super comfortable and gave everyone their own place to relax. The walk to the beach is less than 3 minutes and the kids could walk to the arcade, the basketball and volley ball courts not far from the house. The weather was cool in early April but we enjoyed the beach and even the pool ourselves. The one little problem we had with the house was corrected quickly and the owner called to make sure we were well settled when we arrived which was so sweet. We would definitely recommend it to other families.

  We had a great time at Flip Flops beach house over our Easter break. The house is beautifully decorated with plenty of room for 6 teen agers and their gear to spread out. It is super convenient to the beach which we enjoyed despite the cool weather (in the 60s most of the time). The kitchen is fully equipped and is part of the great room so we had lots of interaction with kids playing games at the dining room table, others watching some tv or reading with easy access to the kitchen. The kids thought the pool was a bit smaller than some at houses we had rented but they jumped in and quickly out given the temperature! It is also close enough to let teens walk to play basketball or go for ice cream down by the arcade. The beds were heavenly as well, and the vacuum cleaners, cleaning supplies, laundry room made it easy to keep the place pleasant even when traveling with a large group of kids. Garden City beach is great because you can get to Myrtle Beach and Broadway at the Beach, but it feels a bit like a small town - not so crowded - at least not in the spring. We would definitely recommend Cathy's house and when we did have a small problem with the garbage disposal, a handy man came right over within hours to fix it. Thanks for attending to our every need and being so helpful!

  Our family just returned from our week at Flip Flops, and I can't say enough about the property and the owner. The house met all expectations and was wonderfully equipped with anything you might need. We would surely rent this house again!

  We just stayed at Flip Flops with my wifes whole family. We had 11 of us and had room to spare. The house is very clean and nice. It smells good and everything works great. It is also appointed nicely and you can tell that someone takes very good care of it. The pool is a little small but after looking around nearby it seems all of them are in that area. We enjoyed it even though it was a little tight. The only problem we had was a clog in the sewer but the owners promptly got it taken care of and cleaned up for us. They are very nice peopel! Thanks Cathy!! The beaches are wonderful and just a very short walk. We all went to the Pirate's Voyage dinner show and it was just amazing. We all enjoyed it and we range from 10 - 70 years old. We just stayed the week of 5/26/2012

  Flip Flops is a beautiful home and my family really enjoyed our vacation there. There was plenty of room for everyone (and still room left). The weather didn't cooperate with us, it rained almost every day, but the house is clean, beautiful and spacious and we enjoyed staying there. I hope my family can stay at Flip Flops again next year, although I think we will go in June when the weather is better and warmer. Had a great time Cathy, thank you!

  This is our second time staying at "flip flops" and we loved it more this time than before. The home is beautiful inside and out. The owners are great and so are the neighbors. Our family has decided that this will be our vacation spot at least one or more times a year! If you're looking for a vacation home at the beach this is one you MUST visit. One stay at flip flops and I know you'll love it!!!

  We just returned from an unforgettable experience at Cal Ripkin with our baseball team and the house was just the icing on the cake. What can I say? Words alone cannot describe this amazing home and the family that owns it. It was exactly as described, but better! The pictures and description do not do this house justice! We were speechless from the moment we arrived at how beautiful and big the house was! The location was perfect, the beach beautiful (never overcrowded), and the pool a welcome sight after a long day of baseball! We stayed with three families and it was the perfect fit for us. The boys, and the parents, really enjoyed being together in such a warm, inviting, comfortable house that felt like HOME! None of us wanted to leave! The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals for an army. We even barbequed. The golf cart was a great addition for just cruising around or carrying stuff to the beach. We could not have picked a better place to spend our vacation and we can't wait to go back!!! The owners are amazing, sweet people and a sincere pleasure to deal with!! FLIP FLOPS we will NEVER forget you!!! See you soon!

  My family and I stayed here for the Thanksgiving holiday. It was 14 of us and believe me when I say "plenty of room" that would be an understatement. We LOVED Flip Flop's! My husband and I love sitting on the balcony, it was 70+ degrees in November. Our children range in ages from 15 - 24. We could watch them walk to the beach from the house; it was less than a block. The house was fully furnished, beautifully decorated, very clean, and very well maintained! I had planned to cook Thanksgiving dinner and my concern was I wouldn't have the necessary pots, pans, and dinnerware I needed. Boy was I wrong!!! The kitchen was fully stocked! The house is in a great location and we were in driving distance to restaurants and the local Krispy Kreme....Yummy!!!! This home is great for families, girl’s get-a-way, and couples retreats. The location is very family oriented and all the neighbors were very friendly. If you’re every planning to visit Garden City please give Cathy a call and reserve this house. My family and I plan to rent it again in the next few months. Oh, and the owner Cathy...she was Great! She was in constant communication with me. If I had any questions she was always there to answer. I could go on and on about Flip Flop...but some things you have to experience for yourself!!!

  I would highly recommend Flip Flops to anyone.... Outstanding location, beautiful, spacious, very clean, plenty of room. Pool was great as well as the golf cart option. Just park your car and take the golf cart out. The bed was so comfortable I was going to ask the owner if I could take it with me. Very relaxing. If you're looking for a great place to vacation, This is it... Flip Flops is outstanding !!!

  This was my first family type vacation where I took my three daughters and thier families. I could not have chosen a better place to stay. The home was spacious and clean. The home was large enough that if you wanted time alone you could have it. My girls loved the balconies and spent a lot of time out on them just talking. We had a couple minor issues when we first got to Flip Flop, that were immediately taken care of by the owner. The location close to the beach was perfect, we just had to pick up a few things and a few minutes later we were in the water. The beach itself was very nice with soft clean sand. The neighborhood was clean and quiet. This rental made our first family trip a great success, everyone loved it and because it went so great, we are planning our next.
