  We absolutely loved this beach house. It was everything we wanted and more. The location is perfect, the neighborhood is quiet and the property was clean. We had four adults in the house and never once did it feel crowed. The patio was so nice to sit out on and enjoy the fresh air and have a cookout. The owner was so prompt with his responses; I hope to stay there again next year. Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay here. If you love Ocean City but don't like the crowds Assateague Pointe is the place to stay.

  We stayed at this property during the first week of October and it was a blessing! David is such a pleasure to deal with and was always quick to respond to emails or phone calls with any questions that we had before, during and even after our stay. He makes you feel like you have known him for years and is happy to accommodate you in any way possible! The property and community (Assateague Pointe) was exactly as described. We didn't have the greatest weather during this trip but even so, my husband enjoyed fishing from the pier a few times and we enjoyed the family time (cooking, eating, and relaxing together) spent in the home when the weather didn't permit doing anything outdoors. That is something that we would not have been able to do if we would have stayed in a hotel! Access to the golf cart was a highlight for my grandson! We love Assateague Island and have been going there for years. We have camped there in the past as well as it being our favorite place to enjoy the beach even when we stay in Ocean City. It was such a nice thing for the community to only be a few minutes away from the Island and not have to fight traffic in O.C. to get there during this stay. My grandson thoroughly enjoyed the new Visitor's Center there and I recommend to anyone that has small children to visit as well. It is an awesome "hands on" experience! Although the home met all of our needs as far as blankets, sheets, pillows, towels, etc., we brought our own to make check out day easier. We just stripped the beds and used our own during the stay and then only had to make the beds before we left and didn't have to worry about washing anything that we used. We ended up doing a late check out in hopes of a break in the weather to do a few of the things we weren't able to. Unfortunately the weather did not cut us a break but extra money spent for the late stay was well worth it. I would also recommend taking a crock pot and using it for most meals that you would be preparing in the home. We took ours and it really freed up a lot of time to be able to do other things. There are bikes, beach chairs, beach toys, boogie boards, fishing poles, nets, etc. to use if you choose which was really nice. We brought most of that stuff with us but now know that we won't have to for our next stay at the Plumer residence :) Thank you so much, David, for your hospitality and sharing your home with us!

  We had the pleasure of staying here for a mini-week. The owner was exceptionally nice in emails prior to our stay. We used to have a house in this community and it was wonderful to get back. It's so safe and family oriented - very clean community. We loved the golf cart, a great amenity for renters. The house was very clean and perfect for 5 of us. Would definitely stay here again. It's location, location, location with Assateague Pointe. It's very close to Assateague Beach and the boardwalk and Ocean City shops, restaurants, etc.

  Clean, tidy and close to everything! The cottage was a great size for two couples with plenty of room to spare! Enjoyed the gated community, outdoor patio space for grilling and using the golf cart to visit the doc in the morning! The pool and rec center was nice too (we mostly spent time at Assateague Island beach b/c it was so close!) Would recommend to friends and family visiting the area...lots of yummy local food and markets nearby. Had a relaxing time!

  If you prefer to really relax on vacation, this rental is for you. The place was spotless when we arrived and everything we thought me might need was already there - paper plates, coffee maker, trash bags, etc. Having use of the golf cart to get to nearby ponds to do some fishing or paddle boating was very convenient. It truly felt like a home, not a rental or a motel. Nicely furnished and decorated. Absolutely will return.

  Great location 5 min to Assateague Island and 10 min to the Ocean City boardwalk. The home itself is very nice and the owners were very accommodating. Lots to do at assateague pointe itself with 2 pools, paddle boats, fishing, crabbing, basketball a huge plus if you have kids! My family had a great time here and we plan to return for years to come!

  This place is a great place to stay. It was clean,cozy and quiet. It had lots of extras that my children and I were not expecting. The folks in the community were friendly and everyone waves and says "hi!" when they pass you. There a 2 pools and a Rec center with pool table, air hockey and table tennis. There is also a volleyball court, and a pond where you can do paddle boats. There is also a pier if you like to fish or crab.The location is great 5 mile from OC and 5 miles from Assateague. I told my children I want to retire here. I would recommend this property to anyone. Its a very relaxing place and I look forward to returning as soon as I can.

  Great location, clean home with everything you need for a vacation. Fantastic community, gated for safety with the kids, swimming pools, fishing pier and paddle boats to keep everyone occupied when coming home from the beach. I am already putting in for next year. Thanks David/Kristin
