We had a wonderful stay at Arabella's cottage! Catherine was a delightful hostess and made us feel very comfortable and at home. The cottage is set in a charming and very private yard, and the cottage itself is very lovely, with a big fireplace, kitchen, luxurious jetted tub, and very comfy bed. Catherine supplied us with everything we needed to fix ourselves breakfast, a great way to start a day of wine tasting just minutes away. And we were just a few minutes drive from the restaurants and shops on the square in Healdsburg. We would gladly stay at Arabella's again!

My wife and I had a great two night stay here with our 4 month old baby. The location is in a neighborhood about a 15 minute walk to the plaza, but a very nice walk through the neighborhood. The cottage itself is nice, comfortable, and has everything you could need; also it is very private. Catherine was very welcoming and helpful, she even babysat for us on a Saturday night so that we could go out to dinner! Only complaint is the shower - the shower curtain sticks to you while you shower, but that's just a pet peeve of mine. It's not cheap, but considering the price of local hotels, we would definitely go back.

Owner response: Thank you, it was a pleasure babysitting, you have such a good baby. I will try to get a larger curtain ring around the tub. Good to know.

My husband and I loved Arabella's Cottage. It was beautifully appointed and furnished. It is in a very quiet neighborhood and close to downtown. Unless you are an avid walker it is a little far to walk to the town square on a regular basis, about a 20-30 min. walk. I would recommend Arabella's Cottage to anyone wanting to stay in Healdsburg!

Arabella's is in a convenient location that the Healdsburg square is a short drive or longer walk (on a nice day). Healdsburg is great place to stay for visiting the wineries up and down the Sonoma area. Our house was very quiet in a neighborhood which made it feel like being in your own home. For the price it is definitely a great option vs. staying in a hotel.

My husband and I needed a location close to our friends in Dry Creek and Arabella's Cottage was the perfect spot. The cottage was immaculate, the kitchen was well stocked and the private patio, complete with swing, was delightful. Although it was a quick weekend visit, we plan on returning when time permits. Thank you, Catherine for your warm hospitality.

Arabella's Cottage is a lovely spot in Healdsburg to enjoy all that the surrounding area has to offer. The cottage is clean and filled with the amenities that make a vacation rental special, including a charming patio where you can open a bottle of local wine and look up at the stars. We highly recommend it!

The cottage is fantastic!! Catherine is a most gracious host. If the opportunity affords itself for us to stay there again, we will most certainly do so. Easy walk each morning to downtown to get coffee and a scone at Flying Goat. Healdsburg is a great location to stay . We love it there.

We had a wonderful experience here. The interior was very clean, well appointed, and comfortable. The location is convient and in a very quiet and safe area. The yard is well maintained with a nice patio which is very relaxing in the mornings for a cup of coffee and in the evenings for a wonderful glass of wine. We spent June 26 - July 5, 2012 at Arabella's Cottage and loved every minute of it. Catherine was a most gracious hostess and the cottage was even better than the pictures. We were meeting up with friends staying in Healdsburg for a month, and it was nice to have our own little place to return to in the evening to wind down. Great kitchen stocked with everything needed for cooking, comfy furniture, comfy bed, and just a really nice place. Lots of different directions to go for morning walks, and it was so nice to come back to all the fresh fruit Catherine had left for us. We'll hopefully get to come back at some point, and I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. So much more welcoming than a cold hotel room after a day of visiting wineries or any of the many other wonderful things to do in the Healdsburg area. Thanks again, Catherine, for a wonderful stay. I'm only sorry it took me so long to get to actually writing this out!

Owner response: Emily, Thank you, you were such wonderful guests. Whenever I'm away I can't wait to get back, I hope you do come back soon.

Excellent cottage, secluded yet so close to everything in town. The kitchen is well stocked and provided a refrigerator full of goodies when we arrived. Also close to outstanding wineries, in Dry Creek, Alexander and Russian River valleys. A great gourmet grocery store within a few block. Catherine accomodates any request you have. Great place to stay for a quiet retreat or celebrate a special occasion. Hope to return again someday!

My Husband and I went to Healdsburg for his birthday this september. We had a wonderful stay at a beautiful cottage. This place is perfect for a couple especially for me who has a chef husband. The two person jacuzzi was great. Catherine makes sure you have everything you need. We can't wait to go back again. We definitely will stay there everytime we go to the wine country.

Lovely, airy, well equipped (everything you would need) comfortable cottage. Large, luxurious jacuzzi tub, great kitchen, charming decor. Owner was kind, helpful and provided breakfast food. Convenient location to everything in Healdsburg, ( charming plaza with bookstores, galleries, great restaurants and near wineries) but often we just stayed in and relaxed. Highly recommended.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Owner response: Yes, the cottage gets sun all day long, moveing through all the windows so it is a great place to stay in, and decompress. Thanks for your stay, come back soon.

This is a large cottage with a great lay out and beautiful kitchen. I was surprised to find out the bathroom did not have a shower. There is a deep jacuzzi tub with a shower head attachment for washing hair etc. I was also surprised to find out there was no cable connected to the TV, It's only set up for playing DVDs. The cottage is well decorated and comfortable. I would recommend staying here. It's also off the street so it's quiet.

Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Owner response: The Cottage is a relaxing getaway, a retreat from the world (as we know it). Friends & family who have used the Cottage said what a fun time they had playing card & board games or just sitting on the patio with a glass of wine, philosophizing. In response to renters requests I do now provide direct tv for your convenience and to further your enjoyment of your stay. There is also now a shower installed.

Arabella's Cottage is by far the most relaxing getaway ever - and my husband and I have been to many bed and breakfasts in California. The cottage is both charming and luxurious; whether it was sipping coffee out on the porch in the morning sunlight or indulging in the deep jacuzzi tub, we wound up spending more time in the cottage than sightseeing. And there is a lot to do in Sonoma County. We loved the widescreen TV and featherbed - I don't believe I've ever slept better. The owner is extremely personable and unpretentious. She keeps the cottage bright, cheery and immaculate. Without a doubt, we plan on returning to Arabella's Cottage the next time we're in Healdsburg.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Owner response: Thank you for your very gracious response. This is what makes it such an enjoyable endeavour for me. Look forward to seeing you both come back. Thanks again. Catherine
