About a five-minute ride south from Cozumel International Airport, Casa Barranca is located on a quiet street in downtown Cozumel, just two blocks West from the tourist-friendly strip of Rafael Melgar and Cozumel's main square. This location is convenient and close to the island's finest dining, retail, and entertainment options. Just a five-minute walk to grocery stores, Internet cafes, many restaurants, clothing, jewelry, and souvenir shops, and on Sunday nights, join the town with dancing to a live salsa band in the picturesque center plaza. The home is one of three in a complex with a shared swimming pool and lavish vegetation dotting the landscape. The outdoor terrace has many lounge chairs, tables for dining or playing games, and a scuba rinse tank. The home has a large sliding glass door leading from the terrace to the living room. Casa Barranca is warmly decorated with many traditionally Mexican accents including tiled bathrooms and floors, heavy wooden furniture that is ornately carved, and colorful accent pillows, artwork, and window treatments. There are two bathrooms and two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two twin bunk beds. Sprawling bougainvillea on the exterior compliment the second-story balcony, off of one bedroom, that overlooks the street below. The kitchen has an eat-in bar with stools, lots of storage space, and all appliances needed to cook your own Mexican-inspired dishes in the privacy and comfort of your vacation home.
